Leica RCD30 Series Imaging revolution The new Leica RCD30 Series – Imaging Revolution A lot can be said about the features of the new Leica RCD30 Series of medium format cameras. But why not keep it simple: The new Leica RCD30 is truly setting new standards in what you and your customers can expect from medium format airborne imaging. Multispectral The new Leica RCD30 Camera Head CH62 is the world‘s first single-head medium format airborne camera that provides co-registered multispectral four-band imagery in RGB and Near-infrared. Metric The Leica RCD30 Camera Head is also the world’s first medium format airborne camera that provides Forward Motion Com- pensation along two axis. This, together with a lens system specifically designed for airborne applications and the indus- try’s most innovative and stable lens mount, makes the Leica RCD30 the most accurate and most reliable medium format camera available today. Modular The new Leica RCD30 Series of medium format cameras can of course be fully integrated with a Leica ALS LIDAR system. But since one control unit can connect with up to five camera heads, it can also be flown in standalone single, dual, quadruple or quintuple configuration to increase area performance or acquire oblique imagery. The Leica RCD30 Series can further be integrated with any other 3rd party system. And if that is not enough, the system is light enough to be integrated with a pilotless platform or a UAV. Masterpiece The Leica RCD30 Series is not only true imaging innovation, it‘s a masterpiece. With the Leica RCD30 Series, digital photogrammetry and airborne remote sensing is now available to everyone. And with it‘s ability to record multi- spectral imagery at the highest accuracy and with the best image quality, the Leica RCD30 Series of medium format cameras is closing the performance gap to the proven large format imaging sensors.

The new Leica RCD30 Series – Imaging RevolutionA lot can be said about the features of the new Leica RCD30

Series of medium format cameras. But why not keep it simple:

The new Leica RCD30 is truly setting new standards in what

you and your customers can expect from medium format

airborne imaging.

MultispectralThe new Leica RCD30 Camera Head CH62 is the world‘s first

single-head medium format airborne camera that provides

co-registered multispectral four-band imagery in RGB and

Near-infrared.

MetricThe Leica RCD30 Camera Head is also the world’s first medium

format airborne camera that provides Forward Motion Com-

pensation along two axis. This, together with a lens system

specifically designed for airborne applications and the indus-

try’s most innovative and stable lens mount, makes the Leica

RCD30 the most accurate and most reliable medium format

camera available today.

ModularThe new Leica RCD30 Series of medium format cameras can

of course be fully integrated with a Leica ALS LIDAR system.

But since one control unit can connect with up to five camera

heads, it can also be flown in standalone single, dual,

quadruple or quintuple configuration to increase area

performance or acquire oblique imagery. The Leica RCD30

Series can further be integrated with any other 3rd party

system. And if that is not enough, the system is light enough

to be integrated with a pilotless platform or a UAV.

MasterpieceThe Leica RCD30 Series is not only true imaging innovation,

it‘s a masterpiece. With the Leica RCD30 Series, digital

photogrammetry and airborne remote sensing is now

available to everyone. And with it‘s ability to record multi-

spectral imagery at the highest accuracy and with the best

image quality, the Leica RCD30 Series of medium format

cameras is closing the performance gap to the proven large

format imaging sensors.
