This tour explores the rich history of Con Dao and will delve into its darker side. A series of prison systems were constructed throughout the 113 years of colonization, during which time many thousands of prisoners where interred here. Conditions in the prisons have become the substance of legend with hardships and brutal regimes placing untold adversity on the local population.
