SCORECARDSCreated for the Short Term and Alternative Lending sector.

Callcredit’s generic scorecards are a great way of quickly setting up a robust strategy using an “out-of-the-box” solution and are being used by a large number of our Short Term and Alternative Lending customers. The scorecards use fields from our Bureau Summary Block and can easily be coded up client-side using the instructions provided in the documentation.

SHORT-TERM SCORECARDSpecifically designed for our Short Term lending clients, this score has been built using only single payment loans of approximately one month in length. The score-building process involves analysing each concept in isolation to evaluate how predictive they are, before passing through coarse classing, variable clustering, and logistic regression.

MID-TERM SCORECARDTo enable our clients in mid-term lending to make informed decisions that use the full depth of our data, our consultancy team have created a score built using only loans from this sector and the same method is used as for our short-term scorecard.

CUSTOMISED SCORECARD BUILDOur consultancy team are able to use your historic good, bad, and declined customers or use our data extract to create a scorecard specific to you. This ensures that the scorecard you are using contains the concepts most appropriate to your data, and that it is as predictive as possible for the applicants you are attracting.

Are the applicants you decline taking loans elsewhere? If so, are they defaulting on these loans or are they paying them back?

Callcredit can run your declines against our SHARE database and return the data to enable you to analyse your applicant’s performance elsewhere. By sharing this analysis with you we can help you to fine tune your acceptance criteria and ensure you are accepting and declining the right people.

Callcredit will carry out retrospective analysis on a sample of the client’s declined portfolio, both at the point of application and at a specified outcome post decline (typically 3 months). Following this a detailed analytical exercise will be undertaken to illustrate post decline performance and suggested strategies.

ANALYTICS REPORTTo ensure you get maximum insight from our analysis, our consultants will present the findings back to you and run through all possible outcomes to make sure you fully understand what impact changing your acceptance criteria would have. If you prefer the raw data we can provide this service without a report.
