1. Introduction

Welcome to the Installation Guide of LepideMigrator for Exchange. In this installation guide, we have covered installation of LepideMigrator for Exchange. Apart from the installation of the software, the un-installation process of the software is also included in this installation guide.

1.1 Purpose of this document

The purpose of this document is to guide you through the process of installation and un-installation of LepideMigrator for Exchange.

2. System Requirements

Before you start installing the LepideMigrator for Exchange, make sure that your computer meets the following requirements.

2.1 Basic System Requirements

2.5 Prerequisites

1. Any of the following Microsoft Outlook versions (both 32-bit & 64-bit):

Outlook 2000

2. For Report Viewer:

.Net Framework 4.0

Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher

IIS 5.1 or higher

3. Anonymous Authentication in Security is required while connecting any Outlook profile to Office 365 and Exchange 2013.

4. Other required prerequisites to enable the full functioning are listed here in below.

NOTE: Connecting to Office 365 as destination requires you to select a Global Administrator User Mailbox, which has full access to all mailboxes.



3. Installing LepideMigrator for Exchange

Before you start installing LME, make you sure that the software installer file is available on your computer. If the file is not available then you can download the file from our Website - http://www.lepide.com

After you have downloaded the installer file, execute the following steps to install the software:

1. Double-click the LepideMigrator for Exchanges installer file.

2. LepideMigrator for Exchange Setup Wizard will open. Click on Next.

3. Select I accept the agreement option and click on Next to continue further:



4. Now select destination location where the software will be installed.

5. Select Start Menu Folder to create programs shortcut and click on Next:



6. Here select the required additional tasks and click on Next:



7. Setup is now ready to start the installation process.



8. Click Install to start installation. Installation process has started:



9. When the installation process completes Completing the LepideMigrator for Exchange Setup Wizard message appears on the software installation window:



10. Click the Finish button and software will be launched:



4. Un-installing LepideMigrator for Exchange

There can be a situation when you need to uninstall this software. The software can be uninstalled from your computer system in following two ways:

Uninstall through Windows Start Menu

Uninstall through Control Panel

Before you start uninstalling software, make sure that it is not running.

4.1 Uninstall through Windows Start Menu

Execute the following steps to uninstall LME through Windows Start menu:

1. Click Start > All Programs>LepideMigrator for Exchange>Uninstall LepideMigrator for Exchange.

2. A confirmation message appears to let you affirm the un-installation process:

3. Click the Yes button to uninstall the software.



4. Click the OK button to finish the un-installation process:

LME is successfully uninstalled from your computer system.

4.2 Uninstall through Control Panel

Execute the following steps to uninstall LME through Control Panel:

1. Click Start -> Control Panel. Control Panel window appears.

2. Double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon. A list of the programs installed on your computer appears.

3. Select LepideMigrator for Exchange and click the Remove button. A confirmation message before un-installing the software appears on the screen:



4. Click the Yes button to un-install software.

5. Click the OK button to complete the un-installation process.

LME is successfully uninstalled from your computer system.



5. License Activation

LME is available in free trial version. Contact our sales team at [email protected] to get

customized license.

License for the full version is available on the basis of number of mailboxes. To purchase

license for the full version, you need to generate license code.

To generate license code:

1. Right-click on the job and select Generate License Code option from the popup menu.

2. Generate License Code window appears which displays all the details related to the

Job. Select the mailboxes for which you want to generate the license. Click on Ok.



3. A confirmation message appears displaying number of mailboxes you have selected, click on Yes to proceed. The generated license file will be saved on the desktop of the

system.

4. Contact sales team at [email protected] or on phone to request for a license.

5. Lepide Software will provide you with a login name and password.

6. Use that login credentials to log on to http://www.lepide.com/lepide-migration-for-exchange

Enter the login credentials and click on Login.



7. Click on Add New License button under License.

8. Click on Choose File button to browse and upload the License File generated in step 3. Click on Submit to upload the file.



9. Verify the License information as displayed on the screen. Click on Submit to upload the file.

10. Click on Download License to download the license activation file.



11. Use the downloaded file to activate license using Activate Software License in the product.

NOTE: License file will never expire. You can use this file from any machine in the licensed Exchange environment.
