Activité 1 Les prépositions (prepositions)  Où est l’oeuf? (Where is the egg?)   

 

sur (on)  

● L’oeuf est sur le toit.  (The egg is on the roof.) 

 

sous (under)  

● L’oeuf est sous le lapin. (The egg is under the rabbit.)  

 

dans (in/inside)  

● L’oeuf est dans le panier. (The egg is in the basket.)  

 

à côté de (next to/beside)  

● L’oeuf est à côté du poussin.  (The egg is next to the chick.) 

 

devant (in front of)  

● L’oeuf est devant les fleurs. (The egg is in front of the flowers.) 

 

derrière (behind)  

● L’oeuf est derrière l’arbre.  (The egg is behind the tree.) 

 Practice these prepositions by hiding eggs (or other objects) around the house! Describe where they are using the prepositions above.    Extension: Draw a picture with hidden eggs. Write sentences describing where the eggs are hiding!  

       

Activité 2 Une chasse au trésor (Treasure Hunt)  Print or write out the Easter vocabulary, sight words and/or letters.  Hide around the house (in plastic eggs if you have them.) Students can read the word/letter when they find it.  Extension: Write the words/letters when found.    Les mots fréquents

Activité 3 Les formes et les couleurs 

Print out this sheet & colour the shapes following these instructions. Count each shape.  

Colorie les cercles en orange.   Colorie les triangles en violet.  

Colorie les carrés en jaune.   Colorie les rectangles en bleu. 

 Don’t have access to a printer? Try drawing your own egg! Add shapes and colour them in! 

Activité 4 Easter Egg Math! Print (or make) a ten frame. Practicing adding up to 10 using different coloured objects, such as easter eggs, jelly beans, toys, etc.

Activité 5 Les cartes de Pâques (Easter Cards)  Grab some paper and colouring tools and make some Easter cards for your family members.
