MARK HARRISONInspector JavertMark's vocal talents were spotted at a veryyoung age by previous Director of MusicDorothy Stoddard. He is also a hugely talentedtrumpet player and he will be furthering hismusical career next year when he takes up a

place at the Royal Northern College of Music.

IMI SAMANTHA PATCHICKEponineSam has loved playing the role of Eponine .She is currently studying ClassicalCivilisation, Theatre Studies and EnglishLanguage and is going on to study ClassicalCivilisation at Nottingham University, after agap year. She would like to take this

opportunity to thank her mum and dad for all their supportthrough out everything, for her singing teacher for helping her toprepare and Mrs Hammond and Miss Britton for all their effortand hard work which has made Les Mis a massive success.

ROBBIE HERNANDEZMariusRobbie was delighted to win the role ofMarius. He is currently in Year 11 and islooking forward to more opportunities suchas this in the Sixth Form.

LUCYCONWAYLittle CosetteLucy has really enjoyed playing Little Cosettein this school production of Les Miserables,and is excited about singing her very firstsolo.Although Lucy knows that it will be hardwork, she would like to pursue a career in

Medicine when she is older. Lucy would like to take thisopportunity to thank Miss Britton, Mrs Hammond, Mrs Hanhamand the other staff and pupils who have helped bring thisproduction together.

ELIZABETH HAMPSONFantineElizabeth has found the part of Fantine bothchallenging and exciting, and has thoroughlyenjoyed every minute in the making of theproduction. Elizabeth is thrilled to have aleading role in Les Miserables, and is

particularly happy to be playing Fantine as she has aspired toportray this character since first seeing the production at the ageof six. She is currently studying Biology, Maths, and Psychology,and next year will go on to study Biological Sciences at eitherBirmingham or Durham University. She would like to take thisopportunity to thank everyone involved in making Les Miserableshappen at Bury Grammar School, and particularly, Mrs Hanhamfor all her work behind the scenes, and Mrs Hammond and MissBritton for all the help they have given her.

ELIZABETH CUNLIFFECosetteElizabeth has thoroughly enjoyed playing therole of Cosette in this school production ofLes Miserables and has found it to be anexciting and challenging role. She is currentlystudying Mathematics, Further Mathematics,

Geography and Product Design. From these subjects she hopes tostudy geography at Leeds University and become a specialist inphysical geography. Elizabeth would like to take this opportunityto thank all the staff especially Miss Britton for her musicalknowledge and Mrs Hammond for her direction. She would alsolike to thank her parents for their unstinting support during theperiod of rehearsing.

ALEX COHENMsr ThenardierHe has been in many amateur dramaticproductions in the past, but this is his first(and unfortunately his last) one for school.He is currently studying English Literature,Religious Studies and Theatre Studies at A

Level and is also undergoing auditions to attend acting school tomake his dream of acting on stage or screen a reality. Alex wouldlike to take this opportunity thank his mum and dad for theirunconditional support and also Mrs Hammond and Miss Brittonfor all of the time and effort that they have put in to making thisproduction such a huge success.

^^L ^ DANIEL LIVESEYEnjolrasDaniel has enjoyed playing the role ofEnjolras in this school production of LesMiserables immensely. He has thoroughlyenjoyed the challenge and relishes theprospect of playing such a leading role. He iscurrently studying maths, music, chemistry

and physics at A-level and is taking maths at degree level with aview to becoming an actuary. He would like to thank Miss Brittonand Mrs Hammond primarily, but also Mr Castell, Mr Hyde andMrs Hanham for their contributions.
