All Saints Day November 1
All Saints Day, Thursday November 1st
is a Holy Day of Obligation. We will cele-
brate Holy Mass at 8:00 am at Saint
Patrick and 6:30 pm at Saint Michael.
Circle of Grace Children's Program
The Diocese of Madison and our parish take very seri-
ously the commitment to protecting children by every
means available. This includes helping young people to
better understand their intrinsic dignity and worth as
children of God and to navigate some of the dangers our
culture throws at them. To that end, age-appropriate
resources are presented annually to all children and
youth in diocesan catechetical programs. In the coming
weeks of November, our parish children will participate in
such a lesson from the "Circle of Grace" Safe Environ-
ment Education Program. As this material is presented in
our parish Religious Education program, on November 7
for grade 1-5 RE classes, parents may want to remind
children that no one should approach or touch them in a
way that makes them feel scared, uncomfortable, or con-
fused. If someone does, they should immediately tell you.
The diocesan Office of Safe Environment provides addi-
tional resources aimed at keeping children safe. To view
these materials go to www.MadisonDiocese.org/safety-
tips-for-parents
