    It not only means understanding what your ob is! but alsounderstanding how you should do it" what materials ande#uipment you must use to accomplish your task" whatprecautions you should take" and what rules and regulationsyou must apply.

    It is understanding with whom you must work! and how yourelate to them in performing your tasks and for them toperform theirs.

    It is understanding changing environmental conditions whicheffect you and your tasks! and

    knowledge is an ability to continually assess yourself and yourperformance from a physiological and work product point ofview.

    Preparation is a preamble to performance. It ismaking sure that you have all of the tools andpersonal e#uipment necessary to safely andefficiently perform your task.

    Preparation is determining the effects andimpacts that variables and changing conditionswill have upon performance before beginningyour task.

    It is making sure that you are physically andmentally ready to perform your task.

    critical ingredient for safe operations within the workplace.Vigilance is the constant refocus on our tasks.Vigilance is a continuous process of awareness

    about what we are doing and how we are doingit.
