Angular Dimensions

• Click on one line

• Click on 2nd line creating a corner

• Enter the Angular Dimension

Sketch Fillet

• Rounds the vertex created by two lines– Creates a Tangent Arc

• Specify Radius• Keep constrained corners

– Maintains the virtual intersection point if the vertex has dimensions or relations.

– When cleared, and if the vertex has dimensions or relations, you are asked if you want to delete those geometric relations when the fillet is created.

Offsetting

• Creates a line a certain distance from an existing line– You can offset more than one line at a

time

Inserting and drawing on Planes

• Cuts are done perpendicular or normal to the surface the sketch is drawn

Inserting a Plane

1. Click on Right Plane in the feature manager

2. Click on Insert3. Click on Reference

Geometry4. Click on Plane

5. Enter 4” for the distance to offset from the Right Plane

6. Click on Green Check

Draw the Circle and Extrude

• Draw a circle and dimension as shown

• Note that everything is black

• Extrude the cut
