Go wash 7 times in the Jordan River and you’ll be clean

Condition to be clean

After…encouraged/reasoned with by his servant he obeys

Met the condition, therefore was made clean

I know that there is no God in all the earth except in Israel!

Not: ‘I made myself clean’
