Handout  1      Look  at  the  ques:ons  students  asked  on  Monday.    In  pairs/groups,  discuss  •  Why  did  the  audience  member  ask  the  ques3on?  •  If  you  were  giving  the  presenta3on,  how  would  these  ques3ons  make  you  feel?  

•  Could  they  be  improved?    How?  •  What  do  you  think  makes  a  good  ques3on?  

Question  types    Match  the  ques:on  type  to  its  defini:on.                Do  any  of  the  ques3ons  we  asked  on  Monday  fit  these  ques3on  types?

Asking  questions    Look  at  the  poster  from  the  student’s  presenta:on  and  the  ques:ons  from  handout  3.    Write  ques:ons  you  could  ask  following  the  presenta:on.  Use  the  different  ques:on  types  and  the  phrases  from  handout  2.    S:ck  your  ques:ons  to  the  poster.
