The Office of Compline

sung by the Compline Choir of Saint Joseph Cathedral

1st Sunday of each month, September – June

The Office of Compline is sung at 9:00 p.m. and lasts about 40 minutes.

It consists of psalms, short passages from scripture, a hymn, canticle

(Nunc Dimittis), responsory, an anthem, and several additional prayers.

“Like” Saint Joseph Cathedral Music on Facebook and receive electronic concert reminders and track all the happenings in the music department. Photos and reports on events are updated regularly.
