Farmers are against the changc of time, while-busi- ness men are in favor of it. Personally it makes little dif- ference to me whether we have Eastern or Standard time. Ray Hopper and Earl Welch from the University of Kentucky made "a vary interesting dis- cussion with the farmers on different kinds of silos and sil- age especially suited to this area. We had a fine attendance and much interset shown. The Lions Club met at th« school building last Thursday evening. Several members were present. Luncheon was seryed at 6:30 P. M. by Mrs. Dessie Taylor and Mrs. Beulah Riddle. Laco Hamm, one of our lead- ing "Tigers" who had an eye injury a few weeks ago, is able to be back in school again. We were glad to greet one of our** former librarians, Mrs. Nancy Williams who called, at our school Monday morning.
