WORK IT OUT – DAY OF INDUSTRIAL CULTURE 2020The 3rd time: Be part of Europe dancing!
5,000 young people, 40 industrial heritage sites, 12 European countries, 1 dance – that’s the success of WORK it OUT 2019. The continental dance performance clearly proved that industrial heritage is alive and belongs to all of us. Since it was great fun, it comes again next year - with new music and a new choreography!
On 1 May 2020, WORK it OUT will enter the third round. Once again, the locations are industrial monuments and museums throughout Europe, all of them being connected by the European Route of Industrial Heritage (ERIH). Featuring mines, steelworks, factories and workers‘ settlements, they are an essential part of the European DNA. For the third time, young dancers will highlight them with a powerful performance, simulta-neously staged at dozens of ERIH sites and strongly reproduced via Social Media. The result will be a creative and unique performance of our common European industrial heritage. Let‘s dance again!
