Welcome to The Adrenal ReCode Program!

You’ve just made an exceptional commitment to yourself and your future and we’re deeply honored to assist you on this life-changing journey.

This is a three-part process designed to teach you how to begin recoding your adrenal glands by learning how to self-regulate and heal your nervous system.

Part 1 of the program is dedicated to helping you recode your physical body.

Part 2 focuses on helping you recode your mental and emotional body. As you’ll see below, we cannot separate the physical body from the emotional body as one is constantly affecting the other.

Part 3 helps you put it all together and integrate everything you’ve learned into your life so that you can sustainably live in a state of peace, balance, and vitality.

All three parts are essential if this change is to last and give you a new, improved way of being in the world.

Part 1: Weeks 1 - 4Our Physical Food as Medicine ReCoding Approach When you’re consistently experiencing anxiety, insomnia, overwhelm, fear, or exhaustion, your body has been on autopilot, living off stress hormones (cortisol and adrenaline) for a long time.

An essential component of our food as medicine strategy is to use metabolic food {easy-to-digest] aimed at interrupting this pattern so that you’re no longer living off of stress hormones and instead begin to live off of the nutrients provided in life-giving, medicinal, easy-to-digest food. That may sound silly since you eat every day, but it’s not entirely about what you eat.

It’s about the ability of your adrenals (and thyroid) to efficiently convert the food you eat into the energy your body needs. This ability is what reflects healthy adrenals and a strong nervous system.

Breaking The Pattern Of Living Off Stress Hormones

Cortisol addiction is a very real thing because we all want to feel alive, even if that means we also have to feel anxious.

Research shows that 80% of our society has a stress disorder. It can happen from any number of life experiences from childhood, including childhood sickness, living in an abusive or unsafe home, to present day physical or mental abuse, consistent overwork to the point of burnout, too many pregnancies too close together, or even one traumatic birth experience, parenting, especially single parenting or having a disabled child, taking care of sick parents, divorce, break-ups, financial hardship, working in a job that drains you, any kind of painful loss, eating a Ketogenic diet for too long, not eating enough, or anything that your body and mind experienced and coded as traumatic.

These situations or series of events put us into nervous system dysfunction that creates a pattern where we adapt to living off of stress hormones instead of only during times of stress like our bodies are naturally designed to do.

What I’ve realized through a decade of private practice and running countless labs on clients is that we are locked into this biochemical state as if the stressor is still happening, even if the stressor is no longer active in our life and hasn’t been for quite some time. Our biochemistry automatically adapts to this new pattern in order to support us during that time of trauma and we have lost the ability to naturally adjust back to day to day living in our calming, parasympathetic nervous system [rest and digest].

Now, together, we will interrupt that pattern and create a new, healthier recoded pattern so that you can live a more peaceful, happier, healthier life.

It is my highest honor to have you with us and to help guide you in this sacred, transformative process.

Let’s get started!

ReCoding To Create New Patterns

In The Adrenal ReCode, you will essentially be doing for your body what it is unable to do for itself - regulate blood sugar and produce energy.

Providing your body easy-to-digest proteins, carbohydrates and fats provide the body the nutrients it needs to quiet down the adrenal glands that have adapted to dysfunction by way of regulating blood sugar.

In addition to the specific, strategically combined foods you will be eating, we’ll work with you to customize:

1. Your macronutrient ratios (portions of carbohydrates, protein, and fat) 2. The number of times you eat during the day as well as when you eat during the day 3. Your breathing and ability to take in fuller breaths, to provide your body with the

adequate oxygen it needs to detoxify and make energy (oxygen, glucose, + thyroid hormone = energy)

4. Your activity level to keep your blood sugar balanced by sensitizing your insulin response so that you are able to pull more energy into your cells.

You will also use your own body temperature and pulse as a constant inherent feedback system to inform you of how your body is responding to the changes you are making so you can adjust accordingly to make the program work better and better for you. This strategy prevents an excessive cortisol response.

The more we do this, the more we create a positive physical response that shuts off the fight-flight-freeze nervous system (sympathetic) and tells the body that it is safe. This allows you to dwell more frequently in your rest-and-digest nervous system (parasympathetic) which is where true and lasting healing occurs.

Set Yourself Up For Success

Know that you might feel frustration bubble up several times or maybe even dozens of times as you get the hang of The Adrenal ReCode program and process.

This frustration arises because you are recoding yourself and your brain stem perceives any change to be a risk to your safety. So even though you really want to heal, resistance to doing what will help you heal can show up in the form of frustration.

All of this is 100% normal and expected.

We’ve been through this ourselves and with countless clients, so don’t worry, we’re in this together and we’ve got you. We do however need you to create space in your mind and life for healing in order to set yourself up for success with the following four suggestions.

1. Try not to judge yourself or the process you are going through 2. Expect progress, not perfection 3. Give yourself more time to prep and eat meals than normal 4. Plan less social engagements and commitments and more self-care

We will also be asking you to develop a deeper connection, awareness, and relationship with your body, mind, and emotions, therefore strengthening your communication and relationship with yourself on all levels.

All of this is designed to help you restore the health of your adrenals and nervous system and learn to listen and communicate with what your mind, body, and emotions need so that you can create a deep reservoir of self-sufficiency and resilience that you can rely on to meet life head-on with a smile.

Part 2: Weeks 5 - 7Our Emotional & Mental ReCoding Approach

We’ll get into more of the details about Part 2 of the program closer to week 4, but here’s a nibble now.

Part 2 of the program is where you begin to understand that your life has a story, an accumulation of segments of time - where everything you have been exposed to on a physical, emotional, and mental level matters.

That story has been an essential piece of your life and is what makes each one of us unique.

Your health is a physical, mental and emotional expression of your story, and the more you understand your story, and how to nurture all the things that make you unique and matter to you, the greater level of health you will achieve.

Keep in mind you have created very specific ways of emotionally responding or reacting in order to survive in your life. As you navigate your way back to your true essence you will begin

to realize that although essential to your story, what once worked is no longer working for you today.

As we begin to recode your emotional and mental responses to life's challenges, you find your way back to your true essence and realize that you can create a new response pattern that supports the way you really want to live in order to thrive.

Change is going to occur. It must. Embrace it.

Change is there to teach you, help you heal, and grow so that you enjoy all of life.

Part 3: Week 8Living The ReCode In part 3, we’ll teach you how to combine parts 1 and 2 of The Adrenal ReCode in a way that allows you to move forward confidently with a new level of health, plus a stronger mindset and skill-set to achieve lasting balance during both the ebbs and flows of life.
