The Senate has overridden four of those vetoes: . SB 190, which closes a loophole by requiring that the retail sales tax be applied to online travel companies in the same manner as it does to other retailers in the State of Maryland. o SB 517, which decriminalizes possession of marijuana-related paraphernalia and makes smoking marijuana in a public place a civil violation punishable by a fine. o SB 528, which establishes a minimum amount of 5300 that is subject to lawful seizure in drug related offenses. o A Capital Budget item of S2M for Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis. The fifth bill, SB 340, restores voting rights to felons who have been released from prison but have not completed their parole or probation. lt is scheduled for an override vote on February 5. DESCRIPTION

I don't understand how this resolve mass incarceration nor racial profiling problems against the people of color in Maryland. Now the people of color will enrich the Maryland Judicial system by paying off fines because they racial profiled and targeted in traffic stops just by the visual eye by the police officers.“Over 72 percent of people in Maryland’s prisons are African American, according to the 2010 Division of Corrections Annual Report. “Only 29.4 percent of Marylanders are black. In July 2014, the Montgomery County government complained inequality of arrests blacks vs whites with marijuana uses. As blacks is only 18% of Montgomery County population and white are 57% of the population blacks are the highest to be arrested while the use of marijuana users are equally more white. In Maryland, Democrats runs the Senate which proves that Democrats is not resolving the inequality within the Judicial system in regards to race and ethnicity. Now blacks will be paying the fines like Ferguson as they are targeted and racial profiled in Maryland.
