Mrs Roberts – our School’s Special Needs Co-ordinator/Inclusion Manager
It is with great sadness that I write to inform our school community that our veryspecial Mrs Roberts has announced her retirement from teaching with effect from the
end of this summer term.
This year, Mrs Roberts will have completed 25 years at Immanuel & St Andrew School,working tirelessly to inspire and support children in our school and in doing so havinga significant impact on so many parents/carers, governors, staff members and widereducational professionals.
A retirement of this significance will undoubtedly be acknowledged in many ways bydifferent people over the coming months and as of today we will be collecting anydonations from parents/carers, both new and old, towards a gift to thank Mrs Roberts
for all she has given to Immanuel & St Andrew School. If you are able to contributeplease put your donations in a clearly marked envelope and leave this at the schooloffice.
In addition, if you can spread the word around the school community then this willhelp with preparing people for the events that we are likely to run as part of acelebration of Mrs Roberts, our very special Special Needs Co-ordinator.
Finally, can I highlight our ‘Moving On’ leavers service at Immanuel & St AndrewChurch at 10.00 a.m. on Sunday 17th July. I know Mrs Roberts will be attending thisservice and this will provide an additional chance to thank her for her time at
Immanuel & St Andrew School.
