OUTSTANDING KNOWLEDGE: Mr. Jacobs substantial lev,el of knowledge has far exceeded his peers. He continually shows a strong willingness to l-earn and strives to teach what he has learned to the junior personnel. His eager approach to l-earn troubl-eshooting methods and SONAR system operations has far exceeded that of his peers. b. OUTSTANDING MOTIVATION. His positive attitude exemplifies the Navy Core Values and is a model- to be fol-lowed by all personnel. He has an unquestlonable work ethic and has proven this time and time again. While adhering to the rigorous qualifications for submarines, he continued to qualify all required sonar watches on multiple weapons systems. c. UNSURPASSED LEADERSHIP: Petty Officer Jacobs leadership skil-ls are at the l-evel- of a seni-or sail-or. He 1s "the leading junior sail-or i-n SONAR division and consistently is able to lead the junior saj-l-ors in successful endeavors. d. EXCELLENT INITIATIVE: Creative thinklng and excell-ent forethought has given Petty Officer Jacobs an outstanding initiative to complete all assigned jobs correctly and quickly. His personal initiative is on the same l-evel as many senior sailors. He always efficiently completes divisional work ahead of schedule to allow for greater divisional- flexibility.
