Each lesson begins with an animated episode featuring a class of

young English learners, and continues with a series of engaging activities, each of which has specific learning objectives related to the conversations

that are modeled in the animation.

Age of Learning: Our Story, Our Approach

Age of Learning was founded in 2007, led by a team of successful technology

entrepreneurs and education experts who worked for nearly four years developing

the revolutionary education product ABCmouse Early Learning Academy. Launched

in November 2010, ABCmouse quickly became the leading digital learning product

for young children, serving millions of families and teachers and earning numerous

prestigious awards. ABCmouse is now regularly ranked as a top children’s learning

iPad®, iPhone®, and Android™ app in both the Kids and Education categories. In

multiple large-scale studies, ABCmouse helped significantly improve children’s early

reading and/or math skills.

Our Approach to English Language Learning (ELL)

Since 2011, Age of Learning has been working with

early learning centers and private kindergartens

in China to help children develop and improve

their English ability with ABCmouse. Now, a new

language learning product has been developed

that provides young students around the world with

a developmentally appropriate English language

immersion experience. ABCmouse English Language

Learning Academy teaches English in a natural way,

beginning with listening

and speaking activities

that help children quickly

develop vocabulary

and conversational

skills. Once students

have learned to speak

and understand simple

English, they progress

to reading and writing.

Each ABCmouse lesson

is introduced with an

engaging animated

story that centers around

an American teacher and six children in an

international school.

What Children Will Learn

ABCmouse English Language Learning Academy

provides a complete curriculum that can be used as a

core program or a rich supplemental resource. In the

first six levels of the program, students will learn to

say more than 1,250 key English words and phrases

with excellent pronunciation and to understand

more than 2,500 English words and phrases. They

will also develop independent learning skills and

gain confidence in their own ability to understand

and speak English, building a foundation that will

help students to be

successful throughout

their education.
