Application Description

Lexmark Scan to Network Premium lets you capture an image of hardcopy documents using just your Lexmark MFP. Preview, enhance and index your image, then route it to a shared network folder. Advanced imaging, indexing and notification features let you create intelligent, high-quality images and confirm their delivery.

Optimize image quality with automated preview and cleanup tools such as zoom, despeckle, deskew, crop and rotate. Easily add or remove pages, and reduce file size with the blank-page removal feature. Enter indexing information using on-screen prompts or use the bar code reading capability to easily locate your file later.

Page-by-page preview with zoomNavigate through the image to inspect the quality of each page. Use the zoom feature to magnify small text or graphics.

Image cleanup and manipulation Automated tools let you optimize your images. Remove “speckles” or defects; adjust contrast, darkness and skew; crop and save a specific area of a page; and rotate pages clockwise or counterclockwise.

Page managementDelete pages from the image file or insert new pages by scanning additional documents. Use the blank page removal feature to remove blank pages during the capture process and reduce file size.

Indexing Index your file manually through on-screen prompts or combine with bar code technology. Scan to Network Premium can read up to 30 different bar code types (requires Lexmark Bar Code Discovery, sold separately).

Confirmations with thumbnailsReceive confirmation either by e-mail or print that your image file has been delivered. The thumbnail feature lets you view only the first page of the image file or every page.
