Liberty in the Middle East and North Africa

Liberty began operating in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) in 2006 through an insurance office in Dubai, providing local brokers and insurance companies with more capacity to meet the growing market place need for specialty insurance products.

Since then we have rapidly established a presence in this key market and in 2015 opened a second office in theDubai International Finance Centre (DIFC) taking full advantage of the Lloyd’s platform in the region as both an intermediary and Lloyd’s Approved Service Company Coverholder. The move to writing on Lloyd’s paper has allowed us to provide additional specialist product lines which were unavailable previously and which complement our existing Company business.

Our local expertise, wide range of products and the strength and financial stability of the Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, means we are well placed to meet the demands of our brokers and clients in the MENA region.
