LIBERTY QUARTETLIBERTY QUARTET is a traditional Southern

Gospel group based in the West with a full-time

concert schedule. We are privileged to have them here

next Sunday, March 10, in concert at 5:00 PM. You will

certainly enjoy the enthusiasm these men exhibit while

serving and singing to the Lord, even if you are not a fan

of Southern Gospel music. (See insert in this bulletin.)

March 9, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, including a light

lunch. If you would like to become a member or

simply learn more about GBC, check the appropriate

REV. MIKE GASTON

Mike Gaston is a long-time friend of Pastor Bill

and Janet Bjork, as well as June Wharton, who

served as Pastor Bill's secretary back in the 1980s.

All four of them were involved at the First Baptist

Church of Reseda, CA. Mike was in the youth

group there as a teenager and later became the

Minister of Youth and Missions after completing

seminary at Biola's Talbot School of Theology in

1984. He and his wife, Murf, shared a keen interest

in missions which led them to an appointment in

Cameroon, West Africa, in 1987, by the Baptist

General Conference. The mission transferred

them to France in 1992. Then in 2001, Mike joined

the staff of Grace Baptist Church of Santa Clarita

as Outreach Pastor and Assistant Preacher. Mike

and Murf's goal is to multiply their ministry by

identifying, equipping, sending, and caring for a

new generation of missionaries, while at the same

time mobilizing the church to reach out to Santa

Clarita and the Greater Los Angeles area. The

Gastons have been blessed with two children and

one grandchild. It is a joy for us to welcome these

Soldiers of the Cross to Grace Bible Church today.
