TheLibraryattheUniversityofNavarraoffersitsusersabibliographicalcollectionof over one million volumes, including a wide range of electronic resources. Theopening hours are extensive, and the Library is equipped with all the necessaryfacilities: seminars and group study rooms, large areas covered by wi-fi, and anincreasingnumberofcomputers,printers,scanners,etc. Thesepagescomprisedetailsofaccessrequirements,services,openinghours,facilities,locationsandthemostimportantinformationabouttheLibrary.Inadditiontoaccesstothecatalogandmanyotherresourcesandservices,thewebsitesuppliesmoredetailedinformation. TousetheLibraryservices,usersmusthaveaUniversitycard.Itwillbeprovidedinadifferentlocationaccordingtothetypeofuser:

3. CAMPUS LIBRARIES

3.1. Humanities Library

It locates the different departments of the Library which are in charge of themanagementof thebibliographiccollectionand itsprocessing.Thefollowingroomsarealsothere:

·Newspaper Room: 52 seats available. For users carrying out research withnewspapersandperiodicals,itcontainsgeneralinformationandtheofficialgazettesandperiodicalscollection.

·Multimedia Room:22seatsavailable. ItcontainsDVDs,VHSvideos,cassettes,vinylrecords,CD-ROM,microfiche,etc.,withappropriateplaybackfacilities.

·Researchers Room: 685 seats available and 14 seminar rooms are available tousers.Fortheexclusiveuseofresearchers(lecturers,postgraduates,etc.),itcoverstheLaw,HumanitiesandSocialSciencebibliographiccollection.

·Undergraduates Room: 491 seats available and12computers forbibliographicsearchesandrequests.Itcontainstherecommendedreadinglistsofthedifferentsubjectareastogetherwiththebooksmostfrequentlyusedbystudents.

·Group Study Room:18seatsavailableforamaximumof3groups.·Reference Room: 72 seats available. It contains all the general-content items

(dictionaries,encyclopedias,indexcollections,etc).·Special Collections Room:Itisprovidedwith12seatsandareferencecollection.

Itoffersitemsthatrequirespecialcarebecauseoftheirantiquityorvalue:printeditems previous to 1835, items of notable interest, dedicated items, drawings,engravings,etc.

·Repository:Itcontainsless-usedbooksandperiodicals.

·Group Study Rooms:11(totalcapacity72seats),forgroupworkandpreparationofpresentations.

This serviceoffers thepossibility for books and scanned journal articles tobesentfromtheHumanitiesLibrarytotheScience-UniversityHospitallibrariesandviceversa. This service is available for lecturers, researchers, postgraduates and staff.The request is made through the Library catalogue. Items are collected from theappropriateissuedesk,onreceivingemailnotification.

Borrowing and returning items
