10 am - 11 am Learning at Longfield Visit with and learn how to care for some of our most regal residents, our equine friends. See the stables, the paddocks and arenas where they work and play.

SATURDAY, JULY 1

10 am - 11 am Quick Pickles for your July 4th BBQ a lesson in “Quickles” featuring - for your salad (garden vegetables), cocktail hour (pickled local shrimp), and for your BBQ (onions). Demonstration & Tasting $36++/ member

8 pm - 10 pm Family Bingo in the Oak Ballroom Join us in the oak Ballroom for a classic, good-time game of BinGo! Members and guests can enjoy drinks from the river house lounge while playing bingo. fun for all ages and prizes you won’t want to miss out on.

SUNDAY, JULY 2 10 am - 11 am Archery at Palmetto Bluff Shooting Club an instructor will guide them through a safety talk and demonstrate the basic parts of archery before enjoying some archery target practice. each will be given a proper bow fitting. Ages 6 and up $52 / Member $35 / PBSC Member

11 am - 1 pm Independence Day Tennis Celebration Serve it, Smash it, win it, love it. all tennis players are invited to dress in patriotic hues of red, white and blue and join our tennis Professional team for two hours of friendly competition and fun at wlrC. lite fare and beverage buffet served. Weather permitting $20 / Member

MONDAY, JULY 3 10:30 am - 1:30 pm Sandbar Trips don your bathing suit and let us transport you to and from the May river sandbar for some sand and sun and a true lowcountry “locals” experience.

10:00 am Freedom Fun Run 1 mile fun run starting and finishing in front of the river house Porch. Medals awarded to first place finishers in designated age groups. additional awards for family with the largest number of participants and the runner with the best patriotic costume. $15/Member

WEDNESDAY, JULY 5 10 am Family Fishing Tournament Join our captains and crew for a fishing tournament at wilson landing Marina. we’ll be fishing the fresh water lagoon behind the Canoe Club. Join us at 10 am for basic instruction and rules for the tournament. this is an event for all ages! winners by fish species and weight. we will be fishing for Bream and Bass. Bring your own equipment or some will be provided for you.

*2 pm - 3 pm Water Balloon Toss on the Village Green Join the recreation team out on the Village Green lawn to test out your water balloon skills.

THURSDAY, JULY 6 10 am Sessions with a Sailor Join our captains and crew for a sailing experience aboard our harbor 20, “elizabeth” at wilson landing Marina. we will be instructing on basic sailing rules and technique. Join us for this practical and hands on experience. we will spend most of our time on the water under sail. this is an event for all ages!

2 pm Scavenger Hunt teams compete in our Patriotic scavenger hunt attempting to be the first to find all the pieces to the all-american apple Pie. Meet at the river house Porch.

FRIDAY, JULY 7*10 am - 2 pm Meet the Marsh Tacky at Longfield Stables Longfield Stables is excited to introduce to our members and guests, the Carolina Marsh Tacky, a rare breed of horse native to South Carolina. Join us for all or any part of the event as we celebrate their history and heritage. This is an event for all ages. 10 am – Parade 10:30 am – Presentation 11 am – 1:30 pm – Horse Demonstrations 1:30 pm – 2 pm – Meet the Horses

SUNDAY, JULY 9 10 am - 11 am Kids Air Rifle at Palmetto Bluff Shooting Club Children ages 6-12 will be hosted by an instructor who will guide them through a safety talk, and then on to the shooting benches where they’ll get to shoot at targets in the carefully controlled, and tons of fun setting. it’s a great introduction to marksmanship. $52 / Member $35/ PBSC Member
