The automatic Level Parker offers security against theft, damage and vandalism and is environmentally friendly as a consequence of its compact construction and reduced emission of exhaust gases.

General running costs (lighting, ventilation, routine maintenance etc.) are less than for conventional multi-storey car parks.

The Level Parker 570 provides space saving parking by moving the vehicles closer together on one or more levels. Each parking level consists of at least 2 rows of platforms arranged behind one another.

At each level, the movement of the platforms takes place in a controlled cyclical procedure. These involve longitudinal and transverse movements when a particular platform has been requested at the control point.

A vertical conveyor connects the entrance/exit bay with the parking levels, which can be above or below ground.

The Level Parker 590 provides space saving parking by moving the vehicles closer together on at least 2 levels (single row).

Platforms are moved in a transverse direction to the end of the row, and then vertically transported too other parking levels or the entrance/exit area.

The systems employed in the Wöhr Parksafe Lines are utilised in two important operation areas. The Parksafe 580 is used for the parking of cars in business buildings and in parking systems in industrial areas, communities and municipalities, where they take the form of tower, shaft and tower/shaft arrangements. As its name suggests, the Car Display Tower is used to display cars. The intelligent storage technology is revealed by the transparent facade made of glass and steel in such towers used by car dealers, workshops or car rental agencies.

Parksafe 580 is an automatically controlled parking system with storage shelves arranged to either side.

The Parksafe dispenses with the need for ramps and driving lanes, offers security against theft, damage and vandalism. It is environmentally friendly as a result of its compact construction and reduced emission of exhaust gases. General running costs (lighting, ventilation, routine maintenance etc.) are less than for conventional multi-storey carparks.

Car Display Towers are the most innovative means of combining the storage and presentation of cars. They are mostly used as eye catching glass clad, transparent towers to enhance the brand image of car dealerships, service departments and car hire companies.

These automatically controlled parking systems utilise technology similar to that of the Parksafe 580.

The Parksafe can be manufactured to accommodate the most varied structural requirements. Towers, pits or tower/pit arrangements are all possible with entrances at the bottom, top or any level in between. With the Parksafe 580 up to 3 rows can be included either side of the vertical storage retrieval machine.

The Multiparker has a structure similar to a high-rack shelving system with parking spaces stacked above and beside one another either side of a conveyor aisle. There are three different models:

■ an automatic parking system,for 10 to over 100 cars, constructed as a high rack system

■ suitable for use in public car parks

■ safe for user and car

■ high flexibility permits adaption to suit specific project requirements with 3 different models:– the Transverse Parker (3 variants) – the Shuttle Parker – the Longitudinal Parker

■ vertical conveyor with simultaneous vertical and horizontal movement and the option of turning the car at the same time

■ variants as towers or pits (entrance from below or above) or as a tower/pit arrangement (entrance at a level in between)

■ multi-row arrangements are also possible. Entry and exit areas can be flexibly arranged.

■ very fast access times by the use of a quick-change pallet system

■ reduces the need for driving lanes and ramps, reduces the need for costly illumination and ventilation

■ systems can be arranged to accommodate differing vehicle heights (e.g. vans) and weights of up to 2.5 tonnes (eg Mercedes Benz/BMW/Jaguar).

■ several operating options are available (e.g. magnetic card/ remote control). It is also possible to integrate a cash accounting system for the collection of parking fees where applicable.

System with 2 parking levels and no pit. Entrance level platforms move laterally (always one less than the number of grids) and upper level platforms move vertically.

To collect a car parked on the upper level, the platforms at the entrance level will first move sideways to provide an empty space into which the required platform is lowered.

A variant offering 2 parking levels with a pit, suitable for when headroom is restricted. 2.20m height is sufficient to park vans, jeeps,or cars with roof racks on the upper level.

There is always one platform less than the number of grids at the entrance level. When requesting a lower level platform, the upper level platforms will first move sideways before the lower platform is raised into the vacated space. The vehicles are parked behind theft-proof safety gates.

The most compact, space saving Combilift for parking on 3 levels.

The entrance is at the middle level with again one empty space to provide the means to retrieve requested upper and lower level platforms. As with the 542 system, the vehicles are parked safely behind sliding gates which can only be opened once the moving procedure has been completed.

Parking Platforms

Laterally moving parking platforms are suitable for garages where it is possible to install 2, 3 or more rows of platforms behind one another.

The parking platforms run on rails, with always one empty place per row to free up the route to the selected parking space.

Longitudinally moving parking platforms create additional parking spaces in the driving lane.

The parking platforms run on rails which are positioned across the front of conventional parking bays. Occupied platforms are simply moved aside at the press of a button and empty platforms can be driven over to access spaces.

Three cars can be parked on top of each other within a plan area slightly greater than one “conventional” parking space.

This is a particularly economical solution with one driving level and three parking levels.

The top parking space is horizontal and the two lower ones are driven on at an incline (Parklift 403).

If a slightly greater head room is available, all three parking levels can be driven onto horizontally (Parklift 413).

A series of “buried” models for 1, 2 or 3 cars with horizontal drive on platforms.

The top most platform can be driven over in its lowest state and can be covered with different materials to blend in with surroundings (eg paving slabs/blocks, grass etc.).

A parking system for the dependent parking of 2 vehicles one above the another.

By dependent we mean that the lower space has to be freed up in order to use the upper one. No pits are required for these models.

With the Parkbox 401 the inclined platform makes it possible to park 2 standard height cars one above another within a minimum overall height of only 2.90m.

Parklift 403/413The universal Carport a modern, stable but still light metal-sheet structure for one or two cars side by side.

The roof coverings available are galvanised, coated steel profile, acrylic glas or Makrolon.

The most comfortable Parklift with horizontal platforms provides not only easy vehicle access and exiting but also makes it easier to get in and out of the car.

If additional headroom is available, systems with higher clearances between platforms (165/180cm) can be supplied for extra user comfort.

Large cars of up to 2.3 tonnes weight (e.g. Mercedes Benz S Class/BMW/Jaguar) can be parked on special systems.

In its raised position this provides a compromise between overall headroom and comfort by tilting.

Cars access/exit a horizontal upper platform and inclined lower platform.

As is the case with the Parklift 440, higher platform clearances can be supplied.

The most economical and space-saving Parklift.

This well proven technology which has been refined over many years has only the slight disadvantage that it is necessary to drive onto both platforms at an incline. Ramp slope is approximately 16.7%.

The new Parklift 340 requires the same overall plan and height dimensions but offers reduced ramp slopes of only 9% on the upper and 13% on the lower platforms.This will give extra clearance for cars with front spoilers.
