• Heightened airend shaft to reduce the angle of the drive shaft

• Weight: Euro 6 introduction adds around 100 kg weight to vehicles. Operators look to compensate

this loss in available payload through weight saving from component suppliers.

• Low service with greased for life cylindrical bearings on the suction side. Resulting in weight and

material savings.

• 2 gear sets / volume flow ranges available on one airend providing same footprint and installation

settings.

• Integrated lubrication piping within airend reducing risk of external damage to pipework.

• The airend has been designed with (a) two inlet suction ports, reducing installation complexity and

cost and (b) Side mounts, increasing available ground clearance.

• Installed (and recommended) with friction coupling. Shear bolt coupling available as option on

request.

• Airend lubricant capacity 3.9 litres.

• Lubricant change recommendation is once per year when exclusively using Silol or Silol FG.

• Silol is ideally suited for the dry bulk road transport market as it is suitable for use across a wide

variation of temperature changes. See table below in comparison to regular branded oil

restraints.

of below 10° compound angle, resulting in improved life expectancy.

Friction coupling (standard)

• Eliminates erratic problems with shear couplings.

• Problematic peak torques encountered with Auto boxes can

be accommodated by the friction elements within this

coupling.

• Some competitive friction couplings may suffer from

corrosion effecting release rating. GHH RAND solution

reduces this problem with „truck specific“ design eliminating

ingress of water
