Primary objectives and functions – Monitoring the policy state in the electrical products sales market. – Organization of events, seminars, trainings and lectures aimed at the prevention of corruption in the electrical products sales market. – Implementation of measures aimed at the conformation of the compliance of the characteristics of electrical products presented on the market of the Russian Federation with their declared values. - Implementation of countermeasures against illicit trafficking of imported electrical products in the Russian market. – Representation and protection of common interests. – Coordination of the Association members activities for the implementation of the “Charter on Combating Corruptive Behavior in the Russian Electrical Products Sales Market - Honest Position”. – Identification and prevention of violations in order to combat corruption in the electrical products sales market. – Representing the interests of the Association members in government agencies and other organizations. – Interaction with non-profit associations and organizations in Russia and abroad.

Interlight Moscow powered by Light + Building Interlight Moscow powered by Light+Building is an international fair of decorative and technical lighting and electrotechnical equipment that was established in 1995.

VNISI chairs the Expert Board of the Interlight and takes part in forming fair’s business program.

One of the most interesting events of the fair is the LED Forum.

The Russian Federation participation in IEC activities

468 Russian Federation representatives (experts) take part in the work of 178 IEC technical committees and a number of subcommittees. The Russian Federation acts as a full member in 133 IEC technical committees and subcommittees and as an observer in 45 committees and subcommittees.

Lighting High Quality and Energy Efficiency Realized Pre-conditions

• A complete enough system of regulations, first of all, standards.

• A comprehensive system of testing and certification.

• The existence of organizations conducting independent testing of lighting equipment compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Cooperation with international organizations, first of all, with IEC and CIE providing the possibility of obtaining the information about the last achievements in the field of lightning in general and about the standards under development in particular.
