When we moved into our new house, for the first time I had a small room that was solely my creative space. As I organized my scrapbook papers, accessories, stamps, and inks, I found that those items were more than just products—they had a lot of happy memories attached to them. Many of them made me think of a time when I had used those materials to make some-thing special, like the safari bear stamp I used to make pop-up cards I sent to my children at summer camp. In fact, there were a number of stamps on the old wood blocks that made me smile just looking at them, so I put them on a shelf where I could see them all the time. It was a lot like adding photos to the walls, and gave the room a warm fuzzy feeling.

Now that I have been a Consultant for a number of years, I see reminders of Close To My Heart everywhere I look. When I see my kids’ fabulous smiles, I think of how I increased my income at just the right time to pay for braces. When I work as a pastor, I use all the training and confidence Close To My Heart has given me, and now I see the whole world in Close To My Heart colors: my living room walls are Bamboo, my kitchen is painted in Sunflower, and I even got the hardware store to do a custom color match so I could paint my entryway Cranberry!

The truth is, when I was introduced to Close To My Heart I had never stamped before and I had no business training, but I saw amazing possibilities: opportunities to supplement my family income, to have a flexible schedule where I could be
