Welcome and Introductions

● Today we are going to walk you through a day at Lincoln Hall for the 2020-2021 school year

● Reopening plan - parent choice of remote learning day or in-person learning day

● We will walk through both learning day models

Overview of Town Hall Meeting

Symptom Screening

● Families will fill out self-certification form each day

● Temperature checks at bus stops before boarding

● Screening at vehicles during drop-off

● Walkers checked before entering the building

● Students will proceed directly to 1st period

● Mask must be worn● Maintain social distancing● Drop-off begins at 8:05 AM● Temperature taken before entry● Designated doors for students based on method of

transportation

Entrance Procedures

Entrance ProceduresStudents that walk/ride a bike: All grades - Enter through Door 8 (in-between Lincoln Hall and Rutledge Hall)

Students that take the bus/get dropped off: Car Drop Off: Main Entrance (Door 1)

Bus Drop Off: Activities Entrance (Door 11 | Front of LH closest to Crawford)

● Must be worn at all times, children and adults, within bus and buildings

● Not outside (if 6 ft. apart)● Not while eating or drinking● One washable mask provided by District for staff and

children and from the State. ● Disposal masks available for forgotten or masks.

● Several varieties of masks have been explored, including mask with clear panel.

Lunch/Recess

● Students will eat in classrooms (large spaces or outdoor may be used)

● Boxed lunches delivered to each room or brought from home● Wiping down desks before and after lunch● Time for handwashing before/after lunch● Outdoor opportunities will allow for 6-foot distance between

students as much as possible● Students - fewer than 50; thirty feet apart between groups of 50

Water bottles

● Students should bring personal water bottles● Water fountains will not be available● Bottle filler stations will be available if necessary

● Expectations and examples will be taught to the children.● Classroom desks are arranged with 6-feet distance as much as

possible.○ Seating charts will be used in classrooms

● Visual cues will be placed in areas to help maintain social distancing.

Classrooms will look different

● Less furniture● Desks in rows ● Desks facing the same direction● As much space as possible in between

● Avoid communal supplies of materials if possible● Wipe down any shared supplies between use● Only bring the portion of the school supplies listed

on the website to school and keep the rest at home

● Individually packaged/labeled supplies

● Cleaning/Disinfecting will continue to occur nightly● Increase daytime cleaning as well● Cleaning spray/wipes will be available in

classrooms● Deep cleaning (hospital grade disinfectant)● Building HVAC - filter changes with MultiLayer TriDim

with antimicrobial coating.

Schedules will look different than previous years

○ Middle School schedule is complex and we are working

towards cohorts during this pandemic

○ Time to teach and reinforce COVID-19 logistical practices

are going to be included

○ Build in time for hand-washing/sanitizing

○ Daily time to address well-being and social-emotional

needs of students

Lincoln Hall Example Schedule

Two day example for students in person learning and remote learning day.

● Expressive Arts: food science, global studies, art, music, physical education.

● Advisory - Students will have access to a single advisory teacher that will run social emotional lesson plans developed by our social emotional learning team.

Unique needs of children

● Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 or who shows any signs or symptoms of illness should stay home.

● Separate individual exhibiting symptoms (quarantine room)● Clear space until cleaning protocol is implemented● Individuals who did not have close contact with the person who is sick

can return to work/school immediately after disinfection (...of the space).
