The experience acquired by LINDEN COMANSA, since starting tower-crane manufacturing in 1963, has provided valuable expertise in this field. This knowledge has been applied to the design of brand new manufacturing facilities; one of the most modern tower crane plants currently in operation.

This new unit is the reflection of the evolution of LINDEN COMANSA and their bid for the future. The

floor layout is purposely-designed for highly automated production, optimizing manufacturing time in each phase of production, with increased productivity and ultimate quality of LINDEN COMANSA cranes.

The Modular design of the structural Components, within the different LINDEN COMANSA Cranes families is one of the principal advantages over competitors. Applying the modular concept to the different crane models allows customers to modify their crane to their specific jobs without adding new parts. This means overall manufacturing is reduced, costs are therefore lowered and supply lines are simplified.

The plant layout is specifically designed to enable components to follow an optimized work flow, reducing manufacturing time and permitting specialization and automation of each work station. All of this equates to higher productivity.

The use of robots in the welding and painting areas directly reduces the overall costs while greatly improving the quality of the end product.

All production systems, raw materials supplies, implantation of in-house developed

Since the acquisition of the LINDEN 8000 Modular System technology (which was first produced in 1978) LINDEN COMANSA has focused solely on developing the FLAT-TOP concept. That’s over 3 decades dedicated to manufacturing the best and most affective FLAT-TOP tower cranes in the industry.

The LINDEN COMANSA FLAT TOP families offer numerous advantages over traditional tower cranes. Using FLAT-TOP suspended jibs rather than pendant lines greatly simplifies the erection process; making it faster and most importantly safer. The time and cost of erection are also greatly reduced because of the smaller assist cranes needed. Another huge advantage is the sequential erection which is defined by ‘one-by-one’ picks of lighter sections which gives our customers the greatest benefit of all: INCREASED SAFETY!

Modules are compatible and interchangeable amongst several crane models, improving warehousing logistics and reduced assembly time.

In an effort to service and support the NAFTA countries Linden Comansa created Linden Comansa America in 2002. Linden Comansa America is the NAFTA countries’ direct factory representatives providing all N. American customers with technical support, sales training, engineering advice, over $2M in spare parts inventory and anything else required to support their customers within the territory.

In 2006, LINDEN COMANSA created Comansa Jie, a Joint Venture in China in which their factory manufactures versions of its cranes exclusively for the south-east Asian markets.
