LindseyDavis,ofRicesLanding,receivedthefirstannualAuxiliaryofSouthwestRegionalMedicalCenterPhysicianTuitionAssistanceAward,sponsoredbytheGreeneCountyMemorialHospitalFoundation.TheannualawardisgiventoaGreeneCountyresident,currentlyenrolledinmedicalschool,andwhointendstoreturntoGreeneCountytopracticemedicine. Miss Davis, a graduate of Jefferson‐Morgan High School in 2003, graduated fromWestminsterCollegeSummaCumLaudewithamajorinneuroscience.ShethenmatriculatedtotheWestVirginiaSchoolofOsteopathicMedicineinLewisburg,WV,wheresheiscurrentlyenrolled. During her academic pursuits, she has receivedmany awards, including the NationalDean'sList,Westminster'sAcademicHonorSocietyandTrusteeScholarship.Shehasalsobeenveryactiveincommunityorganizationsandlocalschools,assistingwithflushots,administeringstandardizedtests,andpresentinglecturesonvarioushealthrelatedtopics.
