Quick Tip Linking to a folder within the Document Exchange This guide will provide an overview of linking to a folder within the Document Exchange. Linking to folder will display all of the files within the folder when the user clicks on the hyperlink text or link button. Note: Before you start, please ensure you have a page and module set up – in this example we will be using the Feature Content module. Step 1. Click on the Document Exchange Step 2. Click on the desired Folder – this will now display the files within the Folder Step 3. Highlight the address/URL and copy Click on the page with the module If the page is not in edit mode then click on Edit Page then Edit This Page Click on the module edit pencil and then edit Step 1. Enter the title and text Step 2. Select the Show Button option Step 3. Enter the text you like to display in the button, in most cases this will be “click here” Step 4. Paste the URL copied from the Document Exchange and then click Save.

Quick  Tip  -­‐  Linking  to  a  folder  within  the  Document  Exchange    This  guide  will  provide  an  overview  of  linking  to  a  folder  within  the  Document  Exchange.  Linking  to  folder  will  display  all  of  the  files  within  the  folder  when  the  user  clicks  on  the  hyperlink  text  or  link  button.      • Note:  Before  you  start,  please  ensure  you  have  a  page  and  module  set  up  –  in  

this  example  we  will  be  using  the  Feature  Content  module.    • Step  1.  Click  on  the  Document  Exchange    • Step  2.  Click  on  the  desired  Folder  –  this  will  now  display  the  files  within  the  

Folder  • Step  3.  Highlight  the  address/URL  and  copy    

   • Click  on  the  page  with  the  module    • If  the  page  is  not  in  edit  mode  then  click  on  Edit  Page  then  Edit  This  Page  • Click  on  the  module  edit  pencil  and  then  edit  • Step  1.  Enter  the  title  and  text    • Step  2.  Select  the  Show  Button  option      • Step  3.  Enter  the  text  you  like  to  display  in  the  button,  in  most  cases  this  will  

be  “click  here”    • Step  4.  Paste  the  URL  copied  from  the  Document  Exchange  and  then  click  

Save.
