MKHOW & WHEN DID YOU GET INTO WRITING?

I got into writing in the New York School Of Printing back in 1980. A few of my boys were writing. I had been taking the "A" train from Far Rock to Manhattan to get to High School. I noticed all this shit on the trains. These

guys had black books in the lunch room piecing and bombing them. All the walls in the school were bombed especially the bathroom. PEL, AL170 TP CREW, SLEE TSM, BANES, BREAK4, ROZONE came the year I was bounc-ing out. SOE TNS was my classmate. RICH RTW was there too. KEL1ST was also there. WHO WERE SOME OF YOUR INFLUENCES?

My main influence was SLEE from the SPANISH MOB in East NY Brooklyn, Van Siclen. Him and his boys SOUND2 and HOBIE were killing the CC's. I started noticing SONIC002 BAD INC up all over Far Rock and seeing him up on trains with JOE61. I knew he lived in Far Rock. Some of my influences were BOLT-

ISM, IZ, PLUS, DURO, KCONER TBC, JS, CHIP, VINNY; these guys were killing the A line. WHAT LINES DID YOU HIT? HOW WAS LIFE BACK THEN FOR YOU AS A WRITER? PLEASE GIVE A BRIEF DETAIL ABOUT A DAY IN YOUR LIFE BACK THEN, AS A BOMBER.

I hit the "A" and "CC". Those were the home lines. I bombed Grant all the way to Liberty, Pitkin Yard, 175th St, 179th St. on the E’s and F’s; Union Turnpike layups all the way to Parsons Blvd. I hit New Lots once; I wish I hit it more but I stayed in the Pitkin Yard mainly. A day in my life consisted of getting a bag of weed in the morning, going to school, smoking weed; cutting most of the day fucking around smoking, trying to get laid. Then some racking to go bombing and smoke some more weed.
