TEACHING: Given administrative responsibilities in directing the online and residential programs in School Counseling and Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness I had a course load of 1:1 during the academic year. In addition, I offered an independent study for 2 students who are in the doctoral program for the Counseling Psychology Seminar 1 focusing on ethics and professional orientation for our profession. We met weekly for 13 weeks to discuss the APA ethics code and its application to various scenarios and dilemmas. In addition, we discussed the various practice guidelines including the recently adopted intersectional multicultural guidelines. The cultural critiques provided by the Ethnic Minority Psychological Associations were also covered. We followed the syllabus for this course seminar. I currently serve as the course lead for 3 online courses:

• Foundations of School Counseling • Professional Orientation and Ethics in School Counseling • Assessment of Children and Adolescents

I also oversee the online schedule of content development with 2U. We cover issues around major iterations (i.e., refilming of content) and new initiatives related to the program. Fall 2018 we began exploration of a global offering for online students (e.g., Cross Cultural Counseling and Human Growth and Development); college readiness with NYU College Advising Corp; and meeting new regulations for school counselors focusing on a 12+ credit sequence for our 48 credit MA. I serve as the advisor and committee chair for Taymy Caso (doctoral student). My research teams include the following members: Holocaust Project – Religion and Spirituality

• Andjela Samardzic – Visiting Scholar • Yehuda Kowalsky – Alum CMHW • Micah Zystra – graduate Michigan State University • Amanda Kornblum – APUG Student

Emotional Intelligence – Digital EQ Test Validation

• Julius Utama - Alum APUG • Aya Abitbul – Alum CAS • Kasane Tonegawa – Undergrad CAS • Tenzin Lama – Undergrad APUG
