The following list of medical facilities/practitioners has been prepared by the British Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City for the convenience of British Nationals who may
require these services. It is provided on the understanding that we (the British Consulate-General) do not assume or undertake any legal responsibility, to you, or those
affected, if you choose to use a medical facility or practitioner listed here.
Further and alternatively, we cannot accept any liability to any person or hospital for any financial loss or damage arising from the use of this information or from any failure to
give information.
Please note: Private hospitals may accept payment by credit and offer direct billing services for patients with insurance (depending on insurance policy). They are more likely
to have English speaking staff. Public hospitals will normally require payment in cash, or bank transfer and do not offer direct billing to insurance companies or liaison with
international travel insurance companies, and will have a limited or very limited number of English speaking doctors and staff unless otherwise indicated. You may wish to take
a translator with you. In the smaller towns/cities routine injuries or conditions may require medical evacuation to a regional medical centre with better facilities.
Both private and public hospital normally require advance payment.

not be treated as such.
