A Conference Like No Other! June 17-20, 2013 ATTEND THIS FOUR-DAY EVENT AND EARN 18 CPDUs OR ENROLL FOR GRADUATE CREDIT! Cris Tovani Debbie Diller Linda Sue Park Chris Soentpiet Danny Brassell Size – Unlike typical conferences, Judson is limiting registration to a maximum of 200 participants (100 registration slots for teachers in grades K-3 and 100 slots for teachers in grades 4-8). is conference allows teachers to actually talk with the speakers — an opportunity quickly lost in large crowds at conferences. Peace of Mind –You won’t have to fight for a seat after you have paid good money to attend. At the Literacy in Motion Conference, teachers select either a K-3 program or a 4-8 program. Attendees are guaranteed the opportunity to attend every session geared to their grade-level grouping — and are promised a seat! Convenience – Located right on the Judson University campus at I-90 and Rte. 31 in Elgin, we are easy to find. A wide range of hotels and restaurants are nearby. Price – Teachers often pay $200 to attend a one-day national seminar that provides only one speaker and no meals. How about four days, loads of speakers, and four fabulous meals for a very reasonable price? ose who register by April 19, 2013, may attend for $290! Parking is FREE! Schedule – Every day is totally different! Day One features an over- the-top opening keynote and full breakfast followed by two half-day workshops. Day Two allows participants to hear author/illustrator keynotes before moving to breakout sessions focused on using the keynote speakers’ books in the classroom. Day ree offers a morning workshop and rotating sessions in the afternoon. Day Four concludes with a dynamic half-day workshop and our “Great Give-Aways.” Lunch is provided Monday-Wednesday.
