This is the opening sequence to the episode itself. It is a
collection of footage of B-Roll of DIAN doing her job as a litter
picker, litter and people dropping litter.Narrator (V.O)DIAN HASH,
one of the most renowned litter activists within the community. It
costs Britain more than 1 billion pounds a year to clear up our
rubbish and DIAN is on a mission to keep Britain tidy. So get ready
to get picking through the littered streets of Britain.We then see
the title of Litter. The scene opens with an establishing shot of
Great Wyrley High School and people dropping litter. Then we see
footage of DIAN walking around the school
Narrator (V.O)Great Wyrley High School is a teaching platform to
over 1000 students within the Staffordshire area. DIAN has come
here today to promote the pressing issues of littering, and how it
is impacting our younger generation.DIAN is talking about coming
into the school and her hopes to spread awareness.Narrator
(v.o)DIAN wants to see just how badly the littering habits are
amongst students. She decides to go searching for evidence of
dropped rubbish, but what she finds is even more disturbing Someone
has just dropped litter.DIAN and the camera crew are walking
together. DIAN is smoking not knowing that the crew are filming.
DIAN then suddenly stops and notices someone littering. She drops
her cigarette on the ground and with shouts of panic everyone
starts running towards them at the shock and horror of what has
just happened.Narrator (V.o)DIAN is still hopeful for a cleaner and
tidier Britain. But for now she will be continuing to educate
people on littering.
