How to behave in a Restaurant

A restaurant is a place where we eat and talk. We can

enjoy eating different countries’ food such as Indian food,

Malaysian food, Indonesian food, Egyptian food and so on.

How should we behave when we are in the restaurant.

Before going to the restaurant, we should wait patiently

to be seated. If we wait impatiently to be seated, other

people will think that we want to eat the food too quickly.

We shouldn’t talk loudly on the phone because we will

disturb others if we talk loudly on the phone. We should

check the menu, so we can order the food and drinks that

we like. We can make a reservation if we don’t want to wait

too long. We should turn off our phone, because it is rude

to talk when dining with others. When going into the

restaurant, we should speak politely to the waiter or

waitress, because he or she will be impressed with our

politeness. We shouldn’t play with our utensils, because

this can hurt us. We shouldn’t talk with our mouth full,

because it is indecent. We shouldn’t put our elbows on the

table. If we rest our wrists on the table with our hands

crossed, this shows to others that we want to talk and have

a conservation. We should chew with our mouth closed,

because no one wants to see our food inside our mouth.

After finishing the meal, we should put our napkin on

the chair. We should push in our chair. We should wash our

hands when they are dirty. We should say thank you to the

waiter or waitress. We should ask for the bill politely.

Next time we go to a restaurant, remember the above

tips and you will be a good customer.

My Caring Sister

I’m going to talk about my sister. My sister’s name is

Kyla. I think it is important to have a good relationship with

my sister because we are family and we need to always

love our family members.

I see my sister, Kyla every day. She is caring because

she takes good care of me. She is lazy because she

always asks me to get her water or her phone and she

sleeps a lot.

Me and my sister do a lot of things together like hiking,

riding bikes, swimming, watching movies playing

basketball and we also eat together. I feel happy when I do

all those things with her.

There was only one time when my sister and I fought

with each other. We fought with each other because I ate

her chips and I said sorry and that I would never steal her

chips anymore. I will be nice to my sister

so we can have a good relationship.

I think I am lucky to have my sister

because I have someone to play with and

talk to. She also takes care of me

whenever my parents are not home.

The New Cinderella

They danced together and when Cinderella saw the

time, it was 11:59pm. Suddenly, Peach kissed Cinderella

and the clock struck midnight. Cinderella suddenly ran

away into the woods. Cinderella ran back to his sports car

but when he was running, he dropped the keys and the

gold ring that he wanted to give Peach. While Peach was

chasing him, she tripped and she found the keys and the

ring. Then she called the police to find the owner of these

things.

The next morning, the police came with the owner and

Peach asked, “Are you the boy whom I kissed?” “Yes”, said

Cinderella. She asked why he ran away. He said “Because

you don’t want to dance with a poor boy like me.” Peach

said, “Of course I would love to.” Then Cinderella gave her

the ring and asked, “Will you

marry me?” She said “Yes”.

Then they had a romantic day

together.

The New Cinderella

At the party, Cinderella and Peach swam together.

They also ate food and danced too. They felt very happy

because they had so much fun and because they spent a

lot of time together.

Just before midnight, Cinderella needed to go. He ran

quickly to the sports car but he dropped his sunglasses.

Cinderella felt sad. It was because he needed to leave and

he had dropped his sunglasses.

The next day, Peach wrote a “Lost and found” notice

and then she asked the police to help her find the owner.

After a few hours, she found Cinderella her true love.

They became very good friends. They went to

Disneyland together. They rode on the rides, ate caramel

popcorn and dried squid. They felt relaxed. They had an

amazing time together.

My Naughty Small Cousin

I have two cousins. I think it is important to have a good

relationship with my cousins because they are my family.

I want to write about my younger cousin. His name is

Brian. We see each other every Saturday or Friday. He

speaks very loudly and he is selfish. He does not let other

people win any games or he will cry.

We usually play TV games, play with toys and play

catch in the playground. I usually feel very happy when I

play catch with him. However, sometimes he tries to hit his

sister when he cannot win. He even cries when he loses.

I have never fought with my younger

cousin because I always let him win.

To maintain a good relationship with my

younger cousin, I will play with him

every weekend. He is very naughty but I

love my younger cousin.

My Elder Sister

Do you know I have only one sister? Well, I am telling

you about her. We all know it is important to have a good

relationship with our siblings because we are family.

The name of my sister is Nina. The sad part is that I can

only see her at Christmas because now she is in the U.S.A.

But, next year she will finish her studies and I can finally

see her again. Nina is nice and helpful because she helped

me with my homework in the past.

It is fun being with my sister. We play board games

such as Around the World, Chess and Lude. We feel very

happy and laugh a lot. We also play video games together

such as Friv games, Checkpoint, FiFa 16 and others.

We never fight with each other

because my sister and I are nice to each

other. To maintain a good relationship

with my sister, I need to talk to her more

often.

I feel happy when I have a good

relationship with my sister.

My Helpful Sister

I have a sister and one brother. I think it is important to

have a good relationship with my siblings because we are

family.

I want to write about my elder sister. Her name is Maiffy.

We live together. She is nice and helpful. She has long

straight brown hair. Her eyes are big.

We play UNO together. Sometimes my elder brother

plays with us too. I usually lose in the game but we are still

nice to each other. We sing together. My sister sings very

well. Sometimes she teaches me how to do my Chinese

homework.

I have never fought with my sister because Dad does

not let us fight, but we sometimes quarrel with each other.

To maintain a good relationship with my sister, we should

try not to quarrel with each

other.

I feel happy when I have a

It is very important to behave well in public places.

Then, how should we behave in the cinema?

First of all, during the show, we should not talk on the

phone because it will disturb others who are watching the

movie. Furthermore, we should not kick the seats in front of

us because it can annoy other people.

When we are inside the cinema, we should wait

patiently for the movie to start. We should not bring our

pets inside the cinema because they can make loud noises

and disturb others. We should not talk loudly to each other

either.

When we are buying the tickets in the line, we shouldn’t

jump the queue. This can make people angry. When we

are leaving the cinema, we shouldn’t push the people in

front of us because that is very rude.

In conclusion, if we follow

the rules above, it means we

know how to behave well in

the cinema, then people will

think we have good

manners.

A cinema is a place where we can enjoy movies with

our friends.

First of all, we should arrive on time. When we are at

the cinema, we should also talk politely and queue up

before the entrance. We should present valid tickets. We

should also talk politely to anyone in this public place. We

should keep the place neat and we shouldn’t litter. We

should be seated on our designated seats.

When we are inside the cinema, we shouldn’t make any

noise. We shouldn’t take videos of the movie.

After watching the movie, we should leave the house

through the designated exits. We shouldn’t push other

people. It is rude. We should

remember to take all our

belongings.

We should learn to behave politely in the library. What

things should or shouldn’t we do there?

In the library, we should be quiet. We shouldn’t be noisy.

We also shouldn’t run around or play in the library because

it is disturbing.

When people are reading, we should not disturb them

or be noisy. We should put the books in a neat pile before

putting them on the trolley. We also should not eat or drink

in the library because the crumbs will go on the floor and

the library will be messy or ants will go in to the library.

There are computers in the library. When others are

using them, you should wait patiently for your turn.

It is important to behave in public places because we

need to have good manners.

The New Cinderella

At the party, Cinderella and Peach went to eat dinner

together. They felt nervous because it was their first date.

It was almost midnight and Cinderella and Princess

Peach started to talk about their personal lives.

Cinderella needed to go. He ran quickly to the sports car

but Princess Peach was still running after Cinderella. She

saw that he dropped his wallet. Cinderella felt upset

because he needed to leave and he couldn’t find his wallet.

After that Princess Peach opened Cinderella’s wallet

and found a card with his address on it. She felt happy

because she found an address in his wallet.

In the end, Princess Peach drove her car at full speed

to find out where Cinderella was. She was extremely

nervous because she was about to find out if Cinderella

was behind the door. She saw a man so Princess Peach

asked him if he had lost his wallet, the man said “Princess

Peach is that you? It’s me, Cinderella!” Princess Peach

was wondering why he looked so different, so she asked

him a question. The question was “Where did we have our

first date?” the man replied “The restaurant.” Princess

Peach was really happy. She was still wondering why he

looked different but she didn’t care, she hugged him.

Finally, they felt really happy because they got married

and lived a happy life together.

My Sister – Hello

I have one sister. It is important to have a good

relationship with our siblings because we are family. In this

article, I am going to talk about my sister Hello.

My sister is called Hello. I see her three times a year.

She is twenty one years old. She is a lovely girl of average

height. She has big eyes, a average sized mouth and long

straight hair. She is helpful and lovely. She always takes

care of me.

She always takes care of me and listens to me. She

always shares her food with me. She helps me with

homework. I feel very happy when she does these things.

We never fight with each other

because we are friends. We can

maintain a good relationship. We can

be nice to each other.

I feel happy that I have a sister like

that. And I also think she is amazing.

I have one younger brother. It is important to have a

He has sparkling eyes, he is cute and naughty but I always

his English speech and we always share our food with

each other. We have every meal together. I feel happy

We always play together but

sometimes we fight with each other at

home. However he never shouts at me

or kicks me. I will help him with his

homework, we respect each other.

door gently. You should not litter and you must not spit in

the restaurant because it will make the restaurant really

dirty. You must pay the bill before you leave.

If all of us have good manners

in restaurants, then all of the

restaurants will be happy.

At the party, Cinderella saw Peach standing by the pool

by herself. He went over to her. But he was too nervous to

talk to Peach. Peach saw him too. She asked, “What is

your name?” “Cinderella” he answered.

Peach said, “It is a good name.” Then, Peach said

“Let’s go for a swim.” Cinderella answered excitedly, “Great!

Let’s swim.” Cinderella played with Peach. They were so

happy.

It was almost midnight. Cinderella needed to go.

When he ran quickly out of the castle, he dropped his

wallet on the floor. Peach saw Cinderella’s wallet, and she

called the police for help. Peach felt so anxious, because

she wanted the police to find out where Cinderella was.

Peach wanted to see him again.

When the police found Cinderella,

Peach felt so relieved. She was so glad

that she could find and see Cinderella

again.

Cinderella and Peach saw each

other every day after that and became

good friends with each other.

think it is very hard to care for her when she is sick or hurt.

Once, she accidently hurt her eye with her finger and she

couldn’t open it for three days. She cried a lot. I was very

worried.

My sister and I often go to the market, play in the park

and do our homework together. We both feel very

happy. I fought with my sister a few days ago.

She hit me and didn’t say sorry, so we quarreled. I

always give my sister a present if she is good as a

way to maintain a good relationship between us.

important too. We should speak softly in restaurants. You

have to keep restaurants peaceful and quiet. You should

not run around in the restaurants. It is also a bad idea to

I have a lot of friends in this school. I

think it is important to have a good

relationship with them because if I don’t have a good

relationship with them then no one will play with me. In this

article, I will describe my friend. He is Eugene.

Eugene is my best friend. I always see him in school

because we are in the same class. He has a round face, a

big nose and a big mouth. He is taller than me. He is very

funny. I like him because he always makes me laugh.

We always play together, we play lots of games. We

always do our homework together. Sometimes I don’t know

how to do the English homework, he teaches me how to do

It is important to have a good relationship with our

siblings or cousins because they are family. I will talk about

my older sister in this article.

My sister’s personality is kind, smart and helpful

because she is always there to look after me. My sister’s

her every night at 8:30pm because she is in college in

Sham Shui Po so she is late home all the time.

My sister and I usually take pictures of ourselves, play

electronic games and share food with each other. When I

don’t know how to do my homework especially Chinese

and General Studies, she always helps me with it no

matter if it is easy or hard.

However, sometimes we do fight and quarrel, like one

time I argued with my sister because she called me stupid

when I got an easy question wrong. I felt angry and

miserable for arguing with her. Now I try to maintain a good

relationship with her by not fighting and quarreling with her.

I have a good relationship with her overall and that

makes me glad. I have learnt that I should always be

pleased that I have a sister like Reana. If she didn’t exist, I

wouldn’t go anywhere in life. I hope I can always have a

good relationship with her.

Libraries are very quiet places. Some people think they

are boring because they can’t talk, but here are some ways

to behave and enjoy them.

Here are some rules in the library that we should follow.

Before we go in the library we should finish our food. We

should also keep the library clean and comfortable.

When we are in the library, we shouldn’t run or play

because you may annoy other people in the library. We

should whisper instead of shouting because other people

want to relax or read a book in the quiet library.

How to choose an interesting and fun book? To choose

a book that is interesting and fun it is best to choose the

kind of book you like. For example, it might be a fairy tale,

History or General Studies book. When you finish reading

it. Try to choose another kind of book that you are

interested in.

What other things can we do or cannot do in the library?

We can do our homework in this quiet place. We can also

think much more clearly because it is quiet. We cannot

play or listen to music on our phone in the library because

it is disturbing.

It is a good thing to follow rules because we will have a

better and a more enjoyable time.

My Sister and I

I have a sister, and I think it is important to have a good

relationship with her. This is because when I have some

questions or problems, she will help me. I am going to talk

about my sister in this article.

My sister’s name is Katrina, I can see her every day.

She is helpful. When I’m in trouble, she will help me with

my problems. She also helps me with my homework, so I

think she is very helpful.

My sister and I usually play hide and seek. We always

plays games together. We play ball games, computer

games and card games. And we always chat, share

secrets and talk about things that happened in our schools

and in the news.

I had a fight with my sister when I was P3. We fought

over toys. First, she took my toy car and we kicked each

other I felt terrible. Now I can play and chat

with her and we can keep a good

relationship and not fight. Of course I have

to respect her too.

I feel glad because I have a good sister

and I have a good relationship with her.
