I love little baby ducks, old pick-up trucks, slow-moving trains,

and rainI love little country streams,

sleep without dreams, Sunday school in may,

And hayAnd I love you too

I love leaves in the wind, pictures of my friends, birds in

the world, and squirrelsI love coffee in a cup, little fuzzy pups, old TV shows, and snow

And I love you too

I love honest open smiles, kisses from a child, tomatoes on

the vine, and onionsI love winners when they cry, losers when they try, music

when it's good, and lifeAnd I love you too

And now I will show you the most excellent wayIf I speak in the tongues of men and of angels but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge and if I have a faith that cam move mountains but have not love, I am nothing.If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily

angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. It does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
