Stonebridge Business Park and Stonebridge Cross are located in the north-eastern corner of the City of Liverpool, immediately adjacent to junction 4 of the M57 motorway and just 6 miles from the City Centre.
Ideally situated for rapid access to the rest of the UK motorway network, the location is popular with national businesses such as Home Bargains, and parcel carrier DHL who have distribution warehouses located here. Liverpool John Lennon Airport is 13 miles to the south, whilst the Port of Liverpool, just 5 miles away, currently handles around 700,000 TEUs per year.
Stonebridge is close to local amenities including Stonedale Retail Park which is home to retail outlets Somerfield, McDonalds, KFC, Frankie & Benny’s and a Travelodge Hotel. These will be substantially enhanced by a new 6,600 sqm (71,000 sq ft) foodstore, petrol filling station, and a 1,780 sqm (19,150 sq ft) local centre with further retail/leisure provision which have recently been approved on part of Stonebridge Business Park.
Since 2004, £7 million has been invested in a programme of highway junction improvements, environmental and relandscaping works to the River Alt corridor to provide a high quality setting for Stonebridge Business Park. The most recent works have diverted part of the river to create the largest single available site in the city at Stonebridge Cross, extending to approximately 50 acres.
