Be a Citizen or Pe rmanent Residents of Negara Brunei Darussalam.In the context of partnershipsbusinesses, permanent residents can

participate as a member of a team oras partner. However, 50% of teammembers must comprise of citizen of Brunei Darussalam.Each group or team entry is limited to amaximum of five (5) membe rs onlyParticipant(s) are required to submit atotal of 7 sets of thei r business plan , 1original set and 6 photocopied sets.

No softcopy / e-mail / faxin g of business will be entertained.Participant(s) must attach the o r iginalAw ards Ent ry Form together with the

submission of Business Plan.Participant(s) must also submitphotocopies of Identity Cards,including those of team members orpartners.Business Plan(s) that had previouslyw on any a w a rds o r pr izes in anyprevious competitions are not eli giblefor submission .

y The Business Plan submitted must not be used previously to start a business orentry for other business awards.

y For C ategory A1 & A2, the entry forms must be endorsed and signed by thePrincipal or teacher-in-charge of their respective schools or institution(s) in NegaraBrunei Darussalam

y For C ategory A3, participants must have at least attended the LiveWIRE BruneiTraining Programme i.e. Bright Ideas (BI) or/and Become a Successful OwnerManager (BSOM) workshops.

Must have attended two or more of the LiveWIRE Brunei BusinessProgrammes.Must have a legal business operating in Negara Brunei Darussalam.Must be aged below 40 years old within the year ended 30 June 2011.For Category B1 the existing business must have been in operation for a

minimum of six months.For Category B2 the existing business must have been in operation for at least3 years and over.If the business is a Partnership or Sendirian Berhad, 50% partners or directorsmust be Citizens of Negara Brunei Darussalam.Participants must enclosed copies of their certificate of registration (Certificate16/17), Incorporation Certificate and other relevant documents.Participants are required to submit a Business Establishment Profile .The Judging Process of Category B will be conducted based on the BusinessEstablishment Profile, panel interview and business site visit.

Judging P rocess Judging P rocess

Participants must be prepared to provide additional information or dataupon request of the judges.Short-listed entrants shall be invited to make a presentation of theirBusiness Plans / Business Establishment Profile in front of a panel of

judges. A maximum of two representatives per group are allowed to makethe presentations.For Category B, the judges will make a site visit to the business premises of the short-listed candidates.The judges reserved the rights to penalize and/or disqualify any entrants

that do not meet the required standards and entry criteria.All decision made by the panel of judges are IRREVOC ABLEand FINAL
