Living From The Inside Out

Ephesians 3:14 For this cause I bow my knee (which cause? Everyone could be

a partaker of the covenant with God not only Jews, but Gentiles to could be part

of the glorious body of Christ; in other words, the promise given to Abraham inGenesis 12 was for all people not just the Jews as has been believed by the Jews).

The Ministry that hes talking about is that there is one new man and so now

God is no respect of persons. God doesnt love us any less than He loves Benny

Hinn or any other person with the healing ministry. What God did for them and

through them He will do for me too. If the church could only grasp this.. the world

would be saved. We wouldnt be running from meeting to meeting to get the

latest anointing or touch. Its not that there is not an impartation from one person

to another by laying on of hands or just getting around them. If you get around

some people, you just want to know God more, read your Bible more, live for

Jesus more. Just the aura of Christ around them inspires you.

Ephesians 2:18-19 For through Him we have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Now therefore you are no more strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints and

the household of God. Therefore you are no longer outsiders excluded from the

rights of citizens. But you now belong to Gods own household what a privilege.

Do you think God doesnt take care of his kids? We are human parents and we

love our kids. Is there anything you wouldnt do for them? You give them your

life. How much more our Heavenly Father would do for us. He already made the

greatest sacrifice by sending Jesus to the cross. He gave the His best.

Romans 8:31-32 How shall He not also freely with the Him give us all things?

There are so many people in doubt of what God will do. No! We are joint heirs

with Him. He made us equal heirs, equal citizens with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 3:6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs of the same body and

partakers of His promise in Christ by the Gospel. It is this: that the Gentiles are

now to be fellow heirs with the Jews that are born again, sharing in the same

divine promise in Christ, sharing in the acceptance of the glad tidings of the

Gospel.

So the moment that we receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, we become citizens,

sons of the household of God.

Ephesians 3:9 and to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery

which at the beginning of the world has been hidden in God who created all

things in Jesus Christ, to the intent that now unto the principalities and powers of

heaven might be made plain to everyone; his intent was that we should be made

the manifold wisdom of God and be made known to the rulers and heavenly

realms.

We are joint heirs with Him. That ministry is talking about a hidden thing But

now it is revealed to us by the Spirit of God.

Ephesians 3:15 and he would grant you according to the riches of His glory(not

according to your own works or efforts) to be strengthened (Gr.Kratos-to be

empowered by the power of God) in might by His Spirit in the inner man.

Throughout Ephesians Paul uses power words to describe what has been given to

us as believers:

Dounamis-dynamite or ability of God.

Kratos -strength by rule of dominion

Energeia- working or energy

Ischus- physical strength of God

And yet, Christians are always crying out for more of God and more strength and

more power and more anointing but God has just put Himself and all that makes

up Himself(to the fact that He had to use four different power words to describewhat He gave us) in us.

So this is the reality of what we have inside of us this is the reality of what we

are because the Word says we are one with Him!!! So what are we looking for

from Him?

Ephesians 3:16 says we are to be strengthened with might in the inner man.

This is talking about victorious walking in the Spirit.

Verse 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, that you may be rooted

and grounded in love.Verse 18 that you may be able to comprehend the love of Christ.

Verse 19(this is Gods purpose foryou) that you would be filled with all the

fullness of God!!! And other His fullness have we all received and that grace for

grace. John 1:16.

This isnt part of God.. or a measure of His faith, or His love, His hope, His joy,

peace or His power. Its not even a measure of His grace. Really, the only thing

you cant measure is Gods grace because grace is the thing in the Bible that says

he gives more of. He never says more faith, or hope or love or more power. Why?

Because you already have all that. But He does give you more grace which is His

riches at Christs expense His ability, His might, His strength so that we can use

that grace. This means that as we use the grace that we have, God just keeps

lavishing more grace upon us. This is why you cant do it by law. You have to do it

by grace, because the more you operate in grace, the more grace is reproduced.

And the its the only thing that God says you can have more of. Its by grace that

you walk in the power, in the love. Its by grace that you operate by faith or have

hope.

So the purpose of God in all of this is to know the love of Christ. This is not saying,

Well, I know that God loves me, but I dont know why Im in this mess that Im in.

I dont know why He doesnt answer my prayers. No, this is the confidence that

we have in Him. If you know that God loves you, we know that if we ask anything

according to His will, He hears us and if He hears us then we know that we have

the petitions that we ask of Him. So every single Christian should get every single

one of his prayers answered.

This is what the Word says.

Youve got to live out of your spirit man to do this. If you try to see it out of yournatural man, you wont even try. But you actually are supposed to be believing

not trying anyway.

Ephesians 3:20 (KEY) Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly

above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us.

Most people are desiring a change from the outside. Especially we as parents are

always looking at our children for evidence of change from the outside that is

what are they doing? What are they saying? But God is far more concerned about

whats going on in the inside in the way of change.The Word says weve been changed, fashioned, conformed, transformed into the

image of Christ in our inner man, but the Bible does say that we behold Him, as

we look into the glory of the Lord, we are being transformed from glory to glory.

Now, weve all received the glory of God the day that we got saved. But that is in

our spirit man and God wants that glory to be revealed. This great salvation we

have isnt just so our spirit man can be born again, and then we have to figure

everything out in our soul and then our body is just subject to the elements of the

world. No, no, no. The glory that we are supposed to be transformed into.. you

see there is a glory in the inner man, but that glory that we are transformed into

is supposed to be an outshining glory a manifestation of glory of what we see in

Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration. Can we live there?

Well if we dont believe that we can live there, then we wont. I have a problem

with this concept that suggests you cannot live constantly in the anointing of the

Spirit of God because your human body couldnt contain it. This doesnt make

sense. We got anointed the day we got saved. So how can I not live there

anointed all the time? All that is just a mindset because some of the greatest

miracles Ive seen is when I felt absolutely nothing and if I went by how I felt Id

say that nothing happened. But if you go by revelation knowledge and trust the

Word of God, that you are anointed all the time with His anointing(which is what

Christian means) then you are not short of anything and it changes the way that

you think. So when you see someone, its not, well, I hope it works today. Or,

Im feeling a little less spiritual today so maybe its not a good day to pray for

someone because it might not work today. No! We are not going to walk

victoriously in the Spirit without a renewed mind thinking that way. So we have to

realize that the glory to glory that we are transformed for is actually inside ofus. But it is also to be manifested outside of us. That glory is supposed to

consume us-our mind, will and emotions in our soul. Its to consume our bodies.

Can that happen? Well it happened with Jesus, Paul, and Peter. Its happening

today. There are many people operating in the power of God today. There are

many people today who are walking into places and multitudes of people are

being healed. I mean hundreds of thousands of people are being instantly healed

when somebody just walks into a place. Why? Because they have a revelation of

Jesus and His goodness. They have a revelation of living out of their spirit.So we are born again in our spirit and from that very moment God wants to work

from the inside, from the inner man, through our soul, outside to our bodies . So

you see, God doesnt want our minds troubled. He doesnt want people to be

mentally deranged or depressed or confused. He doesnt want bodies to be weak,

sick or infirm. So here we have a provision for our entire being, spirit, soul and

body, to be perfectly sound. But it has to start from the inside. So this work of

God is not based on our merit, but it is a gift from God according to His riches in

glory. Its not based on merit and as long as we continue to try to merit it or get

condemned because we are not living to a certain expectation of what were

supposed to live

Jesus paved the way with His blood so I can approach God. The heavenly Holy of

Holies is open. The veil was rent from top to bottom signifying that the Holy of

Holies is open to all. So am I going through the Old Testament tabernacle? Is that

my pattern? It better not be. No, now our body is the tabernacle or temple of the

Lord and He now dwells inside of you, not by merit but by a free gift. That means

that you can communicate with God and live in peace, joy, oneness with God

every day for the rest of your life. But because we think we have to be in a certain

state, or we have to do all of these things (and listen, Im not talking about taking

God for granted) if theres one person serious about the Father, the Word and

the Holy Spirit, its me. I dont take Him for granted. I dont have the Him in my

back pocket and go to Him only when I need something. I live, and walk with the

Him constantly.

So you see its not about spending hours and hours studying the Word of God, or

praying every day! Is it based on what I do? Do I have a special favor with God

because I pray or study? No! Its not based on what I do. You are the tabernacle ofthe Lord so regardless of what you are doing, you can talk with the Lord all day

every day. You can get one Scripture and meditate on that one Scripture all day

and I could read 10 chapters in a day, and I would be no better off than you in the

sight of God. When you call upon His name He will work for you just like He works

for me. Why? Because its not based on what you do. Its based on what He has

already done and now believing that! So thats why we have to keep our eyes on

Him and not keep getting all off course or focus on dos and donts or this person

and that person or whats happening here or there. And if you really want to getdiscouraged, just focus on yourself. Because none of us are where we are

supposed to be. Thats why you have to read the Word as a mirror and see

yourself in the realm of the supernatural. Thats how you learn to live out of your

spirit.

Ephesians 3:16 God bases His work upon the riches of His glory and the His riches

are limitless and they are unsearchable.

So there is no limit to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus!!! You couldnt

describe it. Exceeding, abundantly, above all that we could ask or think. Thats

whats available to us. Thats what we are and what we have and what we can do.

So the inner man (1 Cor.3:16) is our new creation and is being renewed day by

day. The inner man has the capacity to hear and obey the voice of God.

John 10:27 my sheep hear my voice

In this vessel we have the treasure, the glory, the person of Almighty God (2

Cor.4:7) so that the excellency of this power may be of God and not of us. We

have to know or realize the potential of Christ inside of us. Thats not by merit

that God placed it in there. Before we are going to step out and start living this

life that we are supposed to live, we have to know about it. You cant participate

in anything you dont know about. We have a whole church that thinks God is

withholding, or is causing bad things to happen. Then we have a Pentecostal

church thats trying to work and merit and move God when God by Jesus,

according to His riches in glory is already moved.

Paul prayed that the eyes of her understanding would be enlightened (Eph 1:17)

and then he prayed again that we would be filled with all the fullness of God right

now. And someday we are really going to understand that our inner man is

empowered by resurrection power. This same Spirit raised Christ from the deaddwells in you.

Philippians 2:12-13 working out your own salvation for it is God who works in

you both to will and to do for his good pleasure.

This is mind boggling! God lives in us and empowers us to do what God would

have us to do!

The key is not will power!

The key is yielding our will to His will (which is in us) and then do His will by His

power! So grace is all God. So Christians get off track by saying Ive got to tryharder, pray harder, do this, do that. No. God is willing to do in you for His good

pleasure. Its not about you working,working, working. Its about you yielding

your will to His will and by His will I do by His power. So its all God. Thats why we

can never say: I cant do this.

2 Timothy 2:1 Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Theres a fine line here because believing does have works but those works are by

His grace. Those works are by His power so when I submit my will to His will, then

by His will His power flows through me. So we have a church out there that is

trying to make things happen by willpower and so were frustrated. We frustrate

the grace of God. We are trying to merit it and work. Yes we do work, but its by

grace that we do more. Now its not my strength, my might, my power, my ability

or even my will.

I submit by my will to His will and then His will becomes my will. My will is limited,

but His will is not.

Did God give me a will? Yes. What do I do with my will? Submit it to His will. And

when I submit my will to His will, then my will becomes as powerful as His will.

And thats what Philippians 2:13 says: for it is God who works in you to will and

to do His good pleasure. So the key is not willpower, but rather yielding our will

to His will in us and then doing His will by His power. So God not only wants to

dwell in and strengthen our inner man, but He wants to move from our spirit to

our soul and dwell there by faith.

Revelation 3:20 Behold I stand at the door and knock in anyone hears my voice

and opens the door I will come in and sup with him.

This verse is not for sinners. It is for the church. It is talking about fellowship not

relationship. So Jesus already by His Spirit lives in the inner man. He wants to lordover our soul, but only we can open the door to let Him in. So we exercise our will

not to do, but we exercise our will to yield to His will. And when we yield to his

will, our will becomes as powerful as His will. And His will is to operate in His

power.

1 Corinthians 2:16 We have the mind of Christ.

Mind: nous in the Greek means intellect, but it could be divine intellect and it

could also be soulish intellect. Concerning the renewing of the mind must ask

which mind needs to be renewed? Its the natural mind. But how is the naturalmind renewed? Its renewed by this spiritual mind. Your spirit has a mind and a

thinking process too. It has a voice just like your natural mind. How many of you

have ever had a conflict where you know what the Word of God says, but natural

reasoning kicks in? This just means that the natural mind has not been renewed

yet or the spiritual mind is not dominating your natural mind yet. It doesnt mean

youre a bad person. It just means that we are still being worked on.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which is also in Christ Jesus.

Now this mind is the Greek word phroneo and it means the exercising of your

mind. So its that part of your being, your soulish man, that has the capacity to

have the mind of Christ that can think and set its affections on the things of God,

but its got to happen from the inside out. Because you can try to get your soul to

do things. You can try to willpower over things, but thats only going to go so far.

Do you exercise your will? Yes. But what do you do with your will? You have to

submit that will to the will of God. The last free will decision that you made was to

receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

I dont have a right to do what I want to do. But we need to see this as freedom to

give my life to Him and submit my will and my emotions to Him to be totally

dependent on Him and totally free from self and totally yielded to God the Father.

Give up the right to yourself. This is what Paul talks about when he says we are

supposed to be already dead to self. But again, self keeps trying to resurrect itself.

Why? Because the law does that.

Galatians 5: 24 Self, the old man, has been crucified at the cross and those who

are in Christ have crucified the flesh and its passions and desires.

Weve already been delivered from self, but when we try to merit in willpower

and live by law what does it do? Even though the old man is dead, this actuallyends up resurrecting the old man.

90% of the church is trying to make it happen and to do things. I thought thats

why I got saved. I thought I couldnt do it myself. We couldnt help ourselves, we

could not save ourselves, we couldnt get healed or perfect ourselves. We

couldnt live this life the way God wanted us to. We couldnt experience God, so

we come to God and surrendered to Him. We say, God I cant do this. Here you

do it. We give it to Him and He says finally, thats what Ive been waiting for.

Then we get saved and we go right back and take our life back and we try to earnand merit everything that we knew we couldnt do in the first place. If we couldnt

do anything to get into this thing, what makes us think we can do all these things

to stay in this thing? So I might as well submit my will to the will of God and when

I submit it, then my will becomes as powerful as His will and that will operates by

the power of God. I dont know about you, but that takes all the pressure off of

us.

You dont have to make this happen. All you have to do is believe God He has

already done it and He is going to see to it that it does happen. Its simple isnt it?

Ephesians 4:22-24 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old

man, which is corrupt according to deceitful lusts:

verse 24 And that you put on the new man, which after God is created in

righteousness and true holiness.

So a lot of times there is the struggle in us between the outer man and the inner

man and which one is going to win. Some say its the one we feed the most, but

how do we put off that old man and put on the new?

Verse 23 is the key. And be renewed in the spirit of your mind. Have a fresh

mental and spiritual attitude.

So how do I put on the new man and put off the old man? I be renewed which

means the whole course of life now flows in a different direction. This is the

greatest and most powerful truth and really the only truth that you really need to

have if you get it in its entirety. And that is what Jesus did for us at the cross.

Once you get a handle on this, then you can go on to the revelation of what the

cross does in you. And what the cross does in you is spelled out in all of Galatians.

What the cross has done for you:

1. Delivered you from your sins and gave you His righteousness.2. He took your sickness and gave you His health.

3. He took your poverty and gave you His riches.

4. He took your shame and gave you His glory.

5. He took your rejection and gave you His acceptance.

What the cross does in you:

1. Delivered you from the present evil age.

2. Delivered you from the law.

3. Delivered you from self.4. Delivered you from the world and the social system.

5. Delivered you from the flesh.

All of this happened at one place. It is the greatest and most powerful truth that

we can preach. It is the message that sets everyone free. If you have that one

message you can get healed, delivered, be prosperous, and walk in the power of

God. Why? Because its all by grace and faith in the grace which is the finished

work of what Jesus did at the cross. If you know what that means in its entirety

you will discover what He has already done, and what He has already made you,

what you already have and what you can already do. And its all based on one

fact, one sacrifice, and my faith in that one sacrifice of Jesus at the cross. It has

redeemed or bought an all-inclusive salvation for me. When you understand that,

this thing is the easiest thing in the world. You cant help but rejoice and be

healthy and prosperous and joyful and peaceful and confident ; having a hope

that you know that you know that regardless of whatever comes against you or

whatever situation you are in it just cant stay that way.

You know that the law cannot condemn you anymore; that the devil has been

defeated; sin is not a problem anymore; no curse can be put on you; no sickness

can stay. Even though it might try to attack you, it cannot stay. No habit can stay.

All because of that one simple fact of the sacrifice of Christ at the cross. And now I

have to renew my mind to that. But how do I renew my mind to that?

Philippians 2:13 I submit my will to His will.

I make a willful decision, to renew my mind and put the Word inside of me. But

really, its not even me thats renewing my mind. Its God that is renewing my

mind. Sure, Im making a willful decision to renew, but its God that does this in

me for His good pleasure area I choose Him and His will. I submit myself to Hiswill, to God. When I submit myself to God, I am resisting the devil.

I do the positive. So, now all of a sudden when I am renewed in the spirit of my

mind, which renews my natural mind, now all of a sudden these two things are

one and there is no conflict going on. And even if the natural reasoning process

tries to kick in, I can still listen to this voice better than I can listen to that voice if

my spirit man is dominant. Why? Because Im being dominated by my spirit.

Second Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creation;

old things are passed away behold of all things have become new.Now its not just the positional truth, but now it is an experiential truth. Now, Im

actually living and walking it. Now I dont have a past. And all that stuff that

people or the enemy want to drudge up, or my own mind wants to drudge up, I

cant use that anymore because that old man just does not exist. He is not there.

Hes gone. And if it happens to me while Im a Christian, all I have to do is go to

God and submit my will to Him and my will becomes as powerful as His will and

God just takes care of it. I take that Word, go after that Word and now all that

rejection, wrong thinking, failure, sickness, disease, whatever has to go.

There is a lot of confusion with regards to Romans seven and Romans eight.

People try to relate Romans seven to a born-again man, that is the things that I

want to do I dont do and the things I do want to do I dont do O. wretched man

that I am. So people read this and conclude that even Paul had his problems. So as

long as you are in this fleshly body you will have problems with your soul and

youll be battling and fighting with your will. But, if we had just submitted our will

to God the Father and my will became as powerful as His will during this

surrender, then everything would be fixed.

If however you are still law minded and trying to live by the law, then you can be

born again and still struggle with these issues. But if you are born again and not

living under the law, then Romans seven does not apply to you.

Romans 12:1-2 Weust translation- I therefore beg of you, please brethren,

through the instrumentality of the affirmation and mercies of God, present your

body to God once and for all and leave it there. This is not a daily decision. This

doesnt mean that if you mess up, you cannot go back and re-commit yourself,

but really if we just commit ourselves one time, we wouldnt have to keep going

back and re-committing. This is supposed to be a one-time decision.Romans 12 continued: Stop assuming an outward expression that does not

come from within you and is not representative of what you are in your inner

being, but is patterned after this age. Dont assume that whats going on out here

is what you really are. But change your outward expression to one that comes

from within and is representative of your inner being by the renewing of your

mind resulting of your putting to the test what is the will of God, the good and

well pleasing complete will.

How were you changed from the outside? What do Christians do? They try tochange themselves from the outside. You cant do it. You have to change from the

inside out from the spirit man, the spirit voice, the spirit mind, the conscience

mind that is fed the Word of God. Now this in turn changes your natural mind.

The church lives in this dilemma and we should not. Its all because of wrong

thinking in which we are living from the outside in. We are really living soulish

lives instead of spiritual lives. Were not living from the inside out. Its not a

judgment of your character, so please dont be offended by this. Its not a

judgment of your character, its just where the church is and we have to get out

of this thinking.

Romans 7:15-25 Weust translation. For that which I do I do not understand; for

that which I desire this I do not practice but that which I hate, this I am doing. So

this is where the majority of the church lives and should not be. In view of the

fact of what I do not desire, this I do I am in agreement with the law that it is

good. And since the case stands with us, no longer is that I would do it, but the

sinful nature that dwells in me. Do you have a sinful nature that lives inside of

you? Didnt you get delivered from that old man which is what the sinful nature

is? Isnt that what the born-again experience is? Its taking out the sinful nature

and putting Gods nature in you. So hes not talking about that. Heres what he

says: and since the case stands of us, no longer is it I who does it but the sinful

nature that dwells in me for I know that there does not dwell in me, that is in my

flesh good for the being desirous is constantly with me but the doing of the good

is not. Thats what the law was supposed to do. It was supposed to tell you what

to do but no one could keep the law because their nature was sinful. But in view

of the fact that that which I do not desire this I do, no longer is it I that does it but

the sinful nature which dwells within me. Thats not saying that a person who isborn again is not responsible for their actions. I find therefore the law; to me

that evil is always present. What was the purpose of the law? To show man his

sinful condition. The law wasnt bad, but man was evil. For I rejoice in the law of

God but I see a different kind of law in my members waging war against the law of

my mind making me a prisoner of war for the law of the sinful nature which is in

my members. Be careful here

because this is where a lot of people teach that we have a dual nature. We have

the born-again nature in my spirit but in the soul and my body that is where thesinful nature resides. No! No! No! This body is neutral. Ill show you this in

Romans 8:3. Thats why Jesus took on sinful flesh. His flesh was no different than

yours. Wretched man that I am. Who shall deliver me out of this body of death?

Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ my Lord, I myself with my mind, serve the

law of God but with my flesh the law of sin.

So what is the answer for Romans seven? That this person thats trying to keep

the law, he has a sinful nature what is the answer for that? Romans eight!

Therefore now there is not even one bit of condemnation to those who are in

Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life of Christ Jesus freed you once for all

from the law of sinful nature and of death. For that which is an impossibility for

the law as it was weak through the sinful nature, God having sent his Son in

likeness of flesh and sin and concerning sin condemned sin in the sinful nature in

order that the righteous requirement of the Law may be brought to completion in

us also not as dominated by the sinful nature or ordering our behavior but It Is

dominated by the spirit. So if we are going to live by the Spirit of God there has

to be absolutely no law. The only thing that law can do with our life is through will

power resurrect the old man. And we are going to get stuck in that dilemma of

Romans seven. So whats the remedy? Its the born-again experience. Its now not

living by the Old Testament law, but living by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ

Jesus which has set me free from the law of sin and death. And Jesus was made in

the likeness of sinful flesh so that He can deliver me from the law of sin and

death. And it all comes again to me renewing my mind to the Word. My mind is

renewed as I feed my Spirit the Word of God which in turn changes this natural

mind and now its not will power any more. Thats the one point I want to stress.

This is what I see in the church: people trying to will to make this thing happen.How does the grace of God work? I make a willful decision to submit my will to

His will. I am now done. God takes over. So how strong is Gods will? It is the

strongest will.

I know its taught that the strongest will on earth is the will of man. I understand

that youre saying God is not going to violate your will. So, why dont you just

submit your will to the will of God. Now its not your will anymore. Its His will.
