    Assume the role of a team of business consultants for this task. 0ou have been

    commissioned by a business organisation to develop a proposal for an 1emerging

    leadership development programme2 for aspiring leaders of the future. As part of thismodule you will study various business organisations and leaders, you should choose

    one of these organisations as the conte%t for your leadership development

    programme.

    As part of a team, you will present your proposaland recommendations to the senior

    management board of your chosen business organisation. !he presentation must

    discuss:

    3 theskills and competencies required for e/ective leaders in the modern business

    environment.3 yourproposed approach to developing such skills in aspiring leaders (leadership

    development methods and interventions).3 the bene4ts the business organisation should e%pect to achieve as a result of 

    investing in the development of itsaspiring leaders.3 why the business organisation should choose your proposedleadership

    development programme over others and speci4cally why you are the right team

    to manage the implementation of this programme.

    In addition, you are required to develop professional supporting material, which is to

    be distributed at the presentation in the form of a booklet. !he bookletshould be

    professionally produced and include details of the leadership programme you are

    proposing, the advantages and disadvantages of this strategy, advice on

    implementation of this strategy and suggested further reading.
