What?

My device( LN5) looks like a computer that is never seen before. You can touch itwhich makes African drumming sounds. On the screen there is a LCD light that projecteverything that happens on the screen. I tried to make LN5 to tell time in different waysjust to make it easier for users. ie. the tick of a fan tells time in 60 seconds.To determine the distance of the hard wires it needs to be 12x31/6= 62 inches long.

Math

The light that comes out of the screen may damage a person’s eyes so this equationbelow shows the amount of light your eyes can take C= F* λ 3x10^8=7.41*10^­1x 2.25*10^4= 16.670*10^3meters.

I think LN5 is much more different than a sundial. The only similarity between LN5 and asundial is that they are unique and easy to use. Sundials and LN5 are both easier tobecause they are easy to make. You can install them in a way you want. The differencebetween these to devices is that LN5 uses more electricity or solar energy. The sundialswork because of the movement of the sun.

When I first saw the first sundial in a video, I compared how humans used to tell timebetween 290BC & 2013 in order to create something the modern and past world would behappy with. I discovered that there are many cultures with different ways of telling time but Isaw one interesting thing, we all try to connect through the Internet. Many people are notalarmed how computers can be addictive but LN5 has it’s own way to alert you throughsound. When fans start running fast after 60 minutes that means that the LN5 five is heatingup.

Why?

LN5 was made for the world to see and use. This device is more useful for the future generations.We need to see our kids use time effectively. LN5 will advise you and let you know when to takea break. We want users to use LN5 how ever they want, build it how ever they like and sharefeedback ideas. Our device was made for you to see time and enjoying online entertainment. It’sshould be accessible for all, but not free as well.
