LobbyGuard does not require additional hardware.Other products may have a lower up-front cost, but require that you supply the computer to operate the product, plus the purchase of additional pe-ripherals. You may find that you have to invest $2,000 or more in additional hardware before using these “cheaper” solutions.
LobbyGuard is a self-service kiosk, containing all the hardware and soft-ware necessary in a single enclosure – including a touchscreen monitor, driver license scanner, camera, visitor badge printer and bar code scanner - with no cables to manage and no additional hardware investment. This kiosk was designed to make your visitor interaction as quick and efficient as possible, and to take the workload off already overburdened front desk staff.
LobbyGuard is a security device.The LobbyGuard kiosk creates a real sense of security at your facility. Much like a security camera, it creates a visual deterrent against crime. LobbyGuard gives visitors a strong indication that you are serious about facility security. And LobbyGuard can screen your visitors instantly against sex offender databases nationwide, sending alerts to local police and ad-ministrators in the event of a visitor matching a known offender.
LobbyGuard does not require staff time to operate.Time equals money. Let’s suppose that it only takes one minute for your front desk personnel to sign in a visitor using a non-kiosk product. Now suppose you have 60 visitors a day, and you are paying this staff mem-ber $10/hour. That adds up to over $2,500/year – every year – that you’re spending on staffing costs to check in visitors. OPTION 1: Direct Purchase Direct purchase is the fastest way for schools that wish to use existing funds and to get LobbyGuard® up and running quickly. A 25% discount is provided to all public and private schools, bringing the cost of the LobbyGuard® system to $7,500. In addition, quantity discounts are available for multiple unit purchases. All customers are provided 30-day finance terms.
OPTION 2: PTA Partnerships Parents have a vested interest in enhancing school safety through the presence of a LobbyGuard® kiosk at their children’s school. Many PTA’s have partnered with schools to absorb some or all of the financial costs of the product. LobbyGuard® partners with the school PTA by providing press releases to local media to bring positive news coverage to the school and PTA. In addition, LobbyGuard® can provide an attractive brass plaque attached to the kiosk recognizing the PTA for their efforts in increasing school safety.
OPTION 3: GrantsState and Federal Grants are available to schools for the purpose of creating a safe school evironment. There are many sources that will help assist your District or School with obtaining these funds. New funding becomes available everyday so please call for additional infomation.
OPTION 4: Lease-to-Own LobbyGuard® works with major financial partners to provide attractive leasing terms with competitive lease-to-own rates.
