Gardiner Gateway, Phases II Project Update

October 10, 2016 Construction activities are underway on the Gardiner Gateway Phase II Project. The Phase II project is within Gardiner on East Main Street, West Main Street, East Park Street and 1st Street. This week crews will be on West Main Street working on several items. Montana Lines will be on site to in-stall electrical conduit for luminaires. The excavation crew will be bringing in sub-base material on 3rd and West Main Street. The concrete crew will be pouring curb and gutter, working from the west side of West Main to 2nd Street. We will also be prepping for 4” sidewalk on the south side of West Main between 4th and 3rd Street. The Surveyors will be on site to place hubs for the sub-base material and stake curb and gutter off-sets. On the east side of the town, Big Sky Fence will be on East Park Street installing fence on the south side of the road. The excavation crew will prep driveway approaches for pavement. The concrete crew will pour 6” sidewalk on East Park Street and 1st Street. Possibly Wednesday or Thursday, we will pave the final layer on East Main, 1st, and East Park Street. Weath-er will be the deciding factor for which day. During the paving process no vehicles will be able to park on the Street. We will have flaggers on site to escort pedestrians to their destination.
