Then a Chapter meet. --DiViants: Flyer for their up-coming event is main focus. July 9th and it’s their 10th year. Event is in Ventura and is a kid-friendly family event without cars. --Golden Empire Mustangs: Annual picnic last Saturday. July 23rd is picnic with Mopars. Had the event at Harris Ranch with (5) other clubs. --Mopars: Check presentation next Tuesday at Ronald McDonald House - $18k. 6th annual Mopars car show date is May 13, 2017 at Bakersfield RV Resort. Expect 100 people at Jul. 23 picnic with GEM. Took shotguns out and hit targets. Wind-down picnic in August. --Small Town Cruisers: Club meeting tomorrow. Will present BCCC to them. Big on working with other clubs in our area. Basically trying to spread the word. No Trailer queens in this club—all ours are driven! Open

Drivers Day. Olive Drab Driv-ers featured in Military Vehicles Magazine for club spotlight. --Kern Co. Air Kooled VW Club: Doing bi-monthly meets. Moved over to The Habit on California Ave. July 30th going to Treffen Run at Ventura Har-bor. --Wheel-O-Holics: Cruised to the coast. 300 cars met up at Hwy. 46 at Cholame. This was done on June 4. Old Business: None New Business: --2016-17 BCCC Calendar pro-ject/fundraiser. Have a photog-rapher. Need to set location/photo shoot date. --Vote on BCCC going dark for July & August meetings. Mo-tion was made by Debbie Launer/Model A Ford Club and seconded by Olive Drab Drivers to go dark for July & August BCCC meetings. All present voted in favor to do this. --Lugnut Larry announced Cof-fee & Cars at the Crest will kick off in June and will be held twice a month starting in July from 7am-10am. Dates to fol-low. --July 9 KC Museum event at night honoring the 1940s. --Jamie Russell, Director for the Society for Disabled Children, popped in to our meeting to proudly announce that due to our funds donated from Super Cruise 20, they were able to send (38) kids to camp that morning and all the costs were covered from our donation! --Raffle and end of meeting.
