• General Objective– To be able to educate pre-school students about

proper health, hygiene and sanitation

Objectives

• Specific Objectives– To be able to teach the students the importance of eating the

right food and avoiding those which are bad for their health– To promote proper dental hygiene by teaching them the

proper way of brushing their teeth– To instill to them the proper way of handwashing– To teach them the proper way on how to wash their face as

well as how to groom and comb their hair neatly– To inform them of the consequences of having unhygienic

lifestyle– To be able to encourage them to practice good habits

Strategies

• Interactive Lecture• Short Film Showing/Role playing• Teaching aids on how to comb their hair, brush their

teeth, wash their face, and wash their hands• Free toothbrushes, comb and hair clips will be given

to the students• Evaluation via question and answer portion, games

and practice of hair combing with grooming, washing of face, brushing of teeth and proper hand washing

Breakdown of Activities

• 10-15 minute Interactive lecture/Role playing on the proper diet– What to eat: Go, Grow, Glow– What not to eat

• Proper Grooming– Interactive Lecture and/or Role playing on good

grooming and good habits– Demonstration of proper: Hair combing, washing of
