PAINTING CONTEST
(1) Submit painting(s) ahead of time, or (2) On-site painting competition at Locke
• Two Age groups - 6 & under , and 7 to 13 • Drawing paper size - 11” x 14” • Theme - Chinese New Year
(Food, custom, dresses, entertainments, decorations etc.) • Medium - Pencil, Crayon, Watercolor, Charcoal, Chalk, Acrylic, Oil • Reproduction or printed artwork is not acceptable.
Paintings submitted ahead of time by 2/8/2020 will be posted up in the Locke - Joe Shoong School. Painting is limited to one submittal per student. Apart from the painting submitted, student can also paint on-site on the 15th for the contest. Paintings received by 2/8/2020 – Age group: 6 & under – cash prize $25 each (Panel Judge Award and Voters Award) 7 to 13 – cash prize $25 each (Panel Judge Award and Voters Award) Round 1 (1:00 – 1:30 p.m.) On-site painting competitors – Age group: 6 & under – cash prize $25 each (Panel Judge Award and Voters Award) 7 to 13 – cash prize $25 each (Panel Judge Award and Voters Award) Round 2 (2:00 -- 2:30 p.m.) On-site painting competitors – Age group: 6 & under – cash prize $25 (Panel Judge Award and Voters Award) 7 to 13 – cash prize $25 (Panel Judge Award and Voters Award) Mail painting artwork before 2/8/2020 to: Locke Foundation, P.O.
