Our 1st year started in1976 “40 years ago” 1st President Frank Mayo (Deceased) Cobb County Gem and MineralSociety Marietta, Ga. This year we should celebrate the people that have volunteered theirtime before us, because without them, we would not be able to enjoy the SoutheastFederation Mineralogical Society as it is today!

Reservation Information
1. Reservations MUST BE placed by October 19, 2016 to preserve the rate. 10 roomshave been reserved for Friday and Saturday nights. Additional rooms will be on an
as-available basis, but at the same rate, if made by October 19, 2016.
2. The room rate is $99/night+tax November 18, 2016 - November 20, 2016. The aboveconfirmed group rates are applicable three (3) days before to three (3) days after theofficial meeting dates, subject to availability. Both King and Double rooms are availableand all will have complimentary Wi-Fi.
You are responsible for your own hotel reservations. Reservations can be made by calling theHotel directly at 888-685-2500 or going to the registration site here:http://www.hilton.com/en/hi/groups/personalized/A/ATLMAHF-SFMSC20161118/index.jhtml?WT.mc_id=POG. Individuals must identify themselves as being with the group, SoutheastFederation of Mineralogical Societies, at the time the reservation is made in order to receive thespecial group rate. Attendees are responsible for all individual charges, room, tax and incidentalsincurred at the Hotel. A $50.00 deposit is required upon check-in for incidental charges. This mayeither be paid in cash or an authorization will be placed on the individual’s credit/debit card.Payment of charges is due and payable upon check-out. Allow 3-5 business days for funds heldon a credit/debit card to be released.

3. Saturday evening Banquet 6:30 to 9:00 in the Breakout room J.Editor's Note: Banquet reservations closed today, October 16th.
4. Sunday Breakfast Editor’s Awards meeting 8:00 to 11:00 in the Breakout Room J.Attendees may purchase breakfast in the adjacent restaurant and bring to the meetingroom that will be set up with breakfast tables.Possible tour at Tellus following the meeting.
